I think the scariest part about flaring is having to wonder if this is just your new baseline.

things that make life easier, whether explicitly a disability aid, like crutches and wheelchairs, or not, like dishwashers and dryers, should not be luxuries. people should be able to live life with ease without great expense and for many disabled people these items are not a case of being comfortable but of just being able to live at all.

without arts & crafts we are in hell

i bring a "technically i could do this tomorrow" energy to things that tomorrow me really resents

I don't have a morning routine. I wake up on straight survival mode.

chronic pain is waking up and your body’s screaming “i’m in pain” and you’re like “okay ???what’s wrong” and your body’s like *🦗🦗🦗*

i don’t make the rules, my brain does and unfortunately that bitch is chemically imbalanced

i understand its chronic pain but every day seems a bit excessive

(in case no one has said this to you in a while) i am proud of you for continuing to exist when it feels impossible

they say you can't pour from an empty cup but i've been doing it my whole life and aside from all of these mysterious ailments it's working out great for me

it’s okay to mourn lives you will never get to live even if you’re grateful for the life you are living now
