MOVIE 33: FRIGHT NIGHT (1985) - I'm playing catch up with my posts because I've been so busy with work. Anyway, this is one of my favorite #vampire movies and #horror #comedy hybrids. #WilliamRagsdale and #ChrisSarandon are perfect as the distressed teenage horror movie lover and the vampire who moves in next door, respectively. MOVIE 31: THE DEVIL'S REJECTS (2005) - @robzombieofficial's first film, #HouseOf1000Corpses, was a crazy ride through Psychoville. This one retains some of the same characters and some of the same sick and depraved insanity, but the story is much more focused. I think that's why I like this one better, enough so that it's one of my favorite horror movies ever made. #RobZombie shows his true ability to direct here, with great cinematography and editing. The soundtrack is top notch, and the cameo-laden casting is excellent, such as #DawnOfTheDead's #KenForee as #CaptainSpaulding's brother. MOVIE 30: THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1957) - Work and illness has prevented me from posting in a couple days. I've still been watching movies though, so I'm going to spend today playing catch up. Being that I'm inherently attracted to the #Frankenstein creature, it's no surprise that this is my favorite #HammerHorror film, although this version of the poor fiend is the least sympathetic of the popular big screen portrayals. Nevertheless, he's played beautifully by the legendary #ChristopherLee. FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH (1982) - This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Not only is it hilarious, it's a real look at teen life that transcends generations. That would probably be because it's an adaptation of #CameronCrowe's book about his time undercover in a high school observing the lifestyles of the various members of the student body. There's a lot of early performances by future stars in this.
