step one: s e d u c t i o n she wraps her pretty red lips, a shade named pomegranate, not cherry around the neck of a bottle and bats her darkened eyelashes, a wordless invitation to the man across the bar who pretends not to notice as she slips in the heels she stole from her mother’s closet.
step two: d e c e p t i o n she lets him take her home, makes her body soft, pliant he offers the seeds and she lets them stain her chin like a sacrifice, like blood. she smiles as she kisses him, and she lets him think that all this was his idea.
step three: a k i n g d o m in this world, it it widely known hat her name means bringer of destruction, she is hunger, she is greed, she is want, and there is nothing more devastating than the ambition of a teenage girl
conquering the (under)world: a three-step guide
It occurred to Luna, as she crept through the door of the dark library, that dreadful things would happen if she were caught. It was the hundredth time it had occurred to her on the long way down from the hospital wing, edging her way along the castle walls. Madame Pomfrey would be apoplectic to find her missing from bed, for one thing; her muscles were still quite weak from her most recent punishment, and the deep gashes the curse had left on her face hadn't healed. If a single person caught her out of bed, it would get back to those disgusting Carrows, and she might not see the outside of the hospital wing again for months. And Ginny, and Neville — A dark, heavy desperation sat in the pit of her stomach, and for a moment, Luna considered using the last of her strength and running full-tilt back to Madame Pomfrey. But she had a purpose here, a deeply important one, and anyway, a number of dreadful things had happened already. What was the threat of another? With her guts twisting as frantically as a nest of gulping plimpies into which one has just dropped a gurdyroot, Luna tiptoed through the library, avoiding the thick shafts of moonlight spilling in through the east windows in favor of keeping to the shadows. She had no wand to cast Lumos, but her eyes had adjusted.
After what seemed like an eternity, she reached the restricted section, and paused to take a calming breath. She could feel the energy of the books around her pulsating in the air, a heady, dark aura emanating from the old tomes, many of which contained twisted and evil magicks. The one she needed wasn't particularly dastardly, but in her vague memories of it, there had been quite a sinister feeling clinging to some of the pages like moss creeping up a dungeon wall. She would have to be careful. Luna was so engrossed in running her finger along the spines, eking out titles in the darkness and searching for the feeling she'd had when she last held the book, that she failed to notice the presence of someone else in the library.

@cbliterated,
‘ — WHAT did you say is up there, again ? ’
he STARES into the tree above him, squinting for some creature that’s probably about as REAL as the ministry’s assurances that nothing is amiss in the wizarding world.
“A pogrebin, Harry!”
She was breathless, her voice clenched into little more than a hiss by her teeth as she lowered her rucksack gingerly onto the ground. Her robes were next, revealing the muggle clothes she had worn in anticipation of this event; it was rare for Luna to emerge from her forest excursions unscathed and entirely clean. Muddied knees and nettle scratches had become par for the course. Luna glanced up at Harry from where she was untying her shoelaces, eyes sparkling as her excitement mounted.
“They’re native to eastern Europe, so it’s quite unusual to spot one here, but Hagrid swears he's seen it crossing from the pitch to this bit of forest at night." She paused, leveling a kind but intense gaze up at him. "Have you been feeling particularly depressed lately, Harry?”

It teaches methods of divining the future, or gathering insights into future events, through various rituals and tools. The magic taught in this class, as well as the ability to say prophetic things is a branch of magic referred to as “Divination”.
