You do your best to help as many people as possible. Sometimes you cooperate with authority, and sometimes you act independently; some may call you an idealist, though you know in your heart and your head that what you're doing is right. This particular zeal develops you into the archetypal "champion", as you fight evil and corruption everywhere you go.

Charley’s relationships with her extended family were always... interesting.

Besides her parents, Charley is probably more like Connor in terms of their similar interests (though Becker would often claim corruption). Like Connor, she’s a fan of sci-fi and can be geeky around topics she’s interested in. He’s also the one who introduced a three year old Charley to Jurassic Park (much to Matt’s ire).

With Abby, Charley shares a love of animals (no doubt due to the amount of time she’d spent around the menagerie growing up). Abby is the one who taught Charley about Animal Behaviour; especially after Shadow entered their lives and saw Charley as a pack mate.

( It’s through Abby’s introduction to Animal Behaviour that an older Charley decides to take Ethology as a side course at University - which helped when Charley would later focus her dissertation on the theoretical pack habits of Direwolves )

When it came to Jess, Charley’s relationship with her was a mix of aunt/friend. Jess can always make Charley laugh when she’s upset, and was the advice giver when Charleys tomboyish nature (especially when she hit preteens) clashed with her peers in terms of her looks and appearance.

When it comes to Becker, Charley has always been in awe of the man who should have been her brothers godfather. While the disciplinarian to Connor’s more relaxed nature in Matts and Emily’s Absence; Becker is the one Charley goes to when she doesn’t want her parents to worry.
