is this a safe place to say I kinda hate internalised homophobia akito/in denial akito. a lot of people write it and there are times it’s done well and I like it but I just don’t see it at all…? the shame in akito’s character arc is about his skill but in every other way he’s incredibly self-assured and has a solid sense of self. he knows exactly what he wants and what he’s about and to me that would extend to his sexuality. he’s absolutely embarrassed about having too many feelings that front is true. but idk he never struck me as someone who would deny being queer or have any level of hatred towards it. always on the side of “Akito realised he was bi at age 10 because he thought a male football player was cute and immediately after thought a female idol was cute”. it’s just never been taboo or a secret. he’s just bi and that’s just another thing about him, it’s never been a big deal for him
