Iris Cyst imaged with a slit lamp camera. The second image gives a better idea of the shape and depth of the cyst.

Posterior Synechiae, OU. A Posterior Synechia is when the iris adheres to the front of the lens capsule. Synechiae can be caused by ocular trauma, iritis or iridocyclitis and may lead to certain types of glaucoma.

Optic pits are congenital, and are typically asymptomatic, though they can be associated with vision loss in the perimetry and from a secondary serous detachment. Source

A displaced intraocular lens(IOL). An IOL is an implanted, artificial lens used to replace a natural lens during cataract surgery.

Another look at Asteroid Hyalosis in another patient. This time I focused on some of the particulate the best I could. Hopefully to give a better idea of what these patients experience.

Was going to save this for Valentine’s Day, but it was just too cute not to share. Slit lamp photo of a conjunctival cyst...shaped like a heart!

Although optic nerve head drusen can look pretty normal from the infrared view, they typically light up white when imaging with auto fluorescence. Optic nerve head drusen are calcified hyaline deposits within the optic nerve head. Although this type of drusen usually causes, at most, mild visual field defects, they can lead to other problems.

Another case of asteroid hyalosis, this time photographed with the slit lamp through the pupil. Asteroid hyalosis is characterized by free-floating calcifications in the vitreous.
