Services I provide outside making graphics:

1. One-on-One class on how to make gifs from video using Photoshop - from the actual clipping to resizing, plus adjusting colours/brightness etc, and adding text. £10 per person. For small groups who want to learn together, I’ll adjust rates & discount.

2. Class on how to merge pictures, add overlays, and create a finished product. £10 per hour, depending upon the expected outcome. This covers every kind of graphic you can imagine. Most graphics will take between 2-4 hours, but I will cap this at £30 and consider the last hour(s) as a freebie.

3. Promotion on my blog - I’ll promote your blog for a week with 4 posts daily for a week, for just £2.50.

4. Editing services - I’m actually a published author, and I have experience working as an editor for other authors. If you need someone to edit your novel for you/check for typos, provide feedback on better sentence structures etc, I’ll do this. Prices start at £10 but will vary depending upon novel length and how in-depth you want me to be. My usual method is to provide you with an additional document full of everything I’ve noted, where the words in question are within your writing, and what may work better as a suggestion. If you just want editing as spell checking and structure issues, I’ll do that for £10 regardless of length. I won’t charge more than £30 for the in depth editing.

I oppose the proposed Tumblr paid service. It's one thing to provide something for sale, to give people the option of purchasing a service as required.. it's quite another to force them to purchase something they can't even tell if they want, or which might not be needed. I only ever charge fair prices for services which often cost much more, but I will NOT participate in this farce.

I’m here! My internet cut off today, because of financial reasons. I’m soooo tired of being broke. I kind of spent the time offline adding things to my Amazon wishlist for my bday (the 13th July). I can dream! I think I’ve added a fair selection for friends and family to buy from.. if anyone wants a look it’s this - [ HERE ] - If you can think of anything else I might like please please message me, especially if it’s cheaper! I’m allergic to cheap metals so jewellery has to be 925 Silver, 9ct Gold+, etc so that’s why that stuff looks a bit pricier - I’m not actually fussed about price, cheaper is better! Yes! This is the most important thing for budding graphic designers - pick the right image! The biggest tip I can give you is simple: clarity. An image which has smoke or backlight, etc, may look cool in its entire form, but if you're planning to erase around the figure, making that smoky foreground or heavy backlight will really restrict what you can do with the image overall. This is fine once you've been doing it a while, but a nice clean, crisp image is going to be your best friend when you're just starting out. Also, if you're erasing wispy hair, switch to a large brush, lower the hardness and reduce the opacity to about 20% - and don't overdo it! Softening your edges will help with blending.
