When the two of them meet, they come up with a ruse that will serve both their needs: Hajime will pretend to court Tooru. Tooru’s courting season will be occupied by an alpha whom no other alpha dares cross while Hajime will be able to go through the remainder of the season without anyone asking about his mating prospects. It sounds like the perfect plan, until both of them start to develop feelings, ones that they vowed to themselves they would never indulge.
