Trust im gonna do part three of her shadow. Just not now. Anyway introducing my pjo oc Royalty!! I hate her sm/j. PS if anyone reading this is chinese and I make any mistakes IM SO SORRY. Please correct me, I want to be 100% accurate!
Was Royalty spoiled? Yes. Was she talented in the art of acting? Absolutely. Royalty had never been told no a day in her life. Her mother decided around age three that her daughter was going to be just like her. An actress.
Unlike many other kids at Camp Half-Blood, Royalty didn't struggle. She didn't have to watch her mother wonder if she should pay the bills or buy groceries. Of course, did this mean she was nice to them? Absolutely not. Why would Royalty of all people do that?
After a third photo shoot of the day, the young actress finally got to go home to her mother's villa in Hidden Hills, California. Her assistant, a timid twenty-one year old son of Apollo who knew about Royalty's parentage, carried her shopping bags and his tablet.
Her mother, Mei Ling (if this seems wrong or inappropriate please let me know and I'll change it!), followed them inside. "Did you have fun today, my dove?"
"Of course I did, mummy." She set her purse down on one of the small tables by the door.
"Ms. Mei, I called and made sure your schedule was cleared the rest of the afternoon like you requested." Marcus gently set the bags of clothes down.
The woman gave him an extra one hundred dollar bill. "I knew I could trust you, Marcus. Take the rest of the day off. Relax."
He looked surprised at the request. "Are you sure, ma'am?"
Mei Ling nodded, guiding Royalty to the living room. The young girl expected her usual nail tech waiting to do her acrylics, but what she found was seven teenagers and her father.
"What's going on?" She glanced at her mother behind her. "Why are you here? My birth month was five months ago. It's May."
"My princess, we need to have a talk. It's very important." Zeus took his daughter's hands, rising from one of the leather couches. "You're seventeen and a half. It's getting too dangerous for you to live in the mortal world full time without learning to harness your powers."
"Oooh, are you sending me to live with you on Olympus!?" Royalty's eyes glimmered with excitement.
"No, but you'll be staying at a special camp in New York where girls and boys your age learn to fight and live like the demigods they are." He explained as gently as he could.
"Camp!? Why would I go to a camp? Camping is for poor people who can't afford a yacht." Her face dropped instantly, the smile on her face turning into a frown.
"That's really Thalia's sister?" One of the boys asked. He was wearing an orange shirt and shorts. For a seemingly seventeen year old, he had a weird gray streak in his hair...
"Do not speak of that annoying wannabe daughter of Zeus near me!" Royalty snapped, glaring at him. He held up his hands in mock surrender.
"Sorry, sorry. Didn't realize that was a sore subject." The boy grimaced. "You're Royalty right? I've seen you in a ton of movies."
She seemed pleased at him recognizing her fame. "Of course I am."
"Oh yeah, I've heard of you. I think my dad did a show or something with you." One girl with messy brown hair spoke from her spot next to a blonde boy who had glasses on. "I'm Piper."
"Like Tristan McLean? Oh, I remember him I guess." Royalty rolled her eyes like the conversation bored her.
"The camp is just during the summer months, so you'll get to go home in September and keep filming movies." Zeus reassured, her mother nodding along. "Your mother had Marcus cancel any business during those months."
"This will be good for you, my dove. Maybe you'll find a nice boy like you." Mei Ling crouched down, holding her daughter's cheeks. "If you behave, I'll think about buying you that Chanel bag you wanted."
She seemed tempted at the offer. "Do you promise?"
"Of course. Why would I ever lie to my angel?" Her mother kissed her head. "Now, I'm going to have the chef brew some tea. You just relax and let your father talk."
Mei walked out of the living room, her heels clicking on the marble floors. She disappeared through an arched doorway into the kitchen.
"Well why didn't we just make a trail of makeup and purses to camp if that's all it took?" A scrawny, tanned boy laughed. Piper nudged him as the tall god of the sky glared at him.
"I will not hesitate to smite you with thunder, Leo Valdez." He stood back up and guided Royalty to the armchair.
Leo went very silent, avoiding eye contact. The others let out laughs or chuckles at his sudden silence.
Royalty was given some tea by her mother. The cup and saucer were porcelain with flowers and butterflies on it. She quietly drank her tea, watching them with a curiousness in her usually judging eyes.
"They'll be bringing you back to camp, you'll have a day to pack as well as to say your goodbyes to your mother and grandparents." The King of Olympus told his daughter. He patted her head before going into the kitchen behind Mei.
The next day was filled with packing up clothes, toiletries, and a bit of makeup and skincare. Royalty complained about doing the work. She lazily handed Annabeth and Piper clothes to put into her suitcases.
During their ride to Camp Half-Blood, a large manticore ran the car off the road. It clawed the door open to grab a screaming Royalty into it's jaws. It poisoned her with it's half scorpion tail, knocking the girl out completely.
Before they could save her, it ran off into the forest. When Chiron reported that she had never made it to camp, Zeus was furious. The sky thundered and rained for days. He yelled at the Seven, snapping at anyone who dared to ask if he was okay.
Gods searched every hour of the day. Artemis searched the forests with her Huntresses, Apollo giving them a bird's eye view. Every demigod at Camp Half-Blood was sent on quests to look for her, leaving camp a ghost town.
Back in California... Royalty woke up in a bed. Her head ached and she noticed an IV sticking out of her arm. The last thing she remembered was hitting the ground on the road before everything went black.
"Where am I...?" She mumbled, holding her hand to her forehead.
The door opened and a tall, smug looking teenager in what looked like a purple camp shirt and a white sheet stood infront of her bed.
"You must be... Royalty, right? Welcome to Camp Jupiter. I read your recommendation letters. Getting one from Venus is lucky. But Jupiter and Juno themselves? That's impressive. I'm Octavian, I'll be your tour guide."
Probs gonna make this multiple parts. Ugh you're gonna hate what happens but I love octavian so...
