Hello! Hope you're having a good day wherever you are! So, I was wondering, does Julianna have (or had) like a male lead/love interest?
Thank you! I'm having a pretty good day. :D
Yep, Julietta had a black haired red eyed noble love interest. He was a "duke of the north" archetype (though he most likely wasn't from the north itself).
Was Fawn friends with Julianna in the OG timeline??
They weren't friends since they only met briefly as children in the first timeline. Julietta fell into a coma from testing poison and her family put her in a mausoleum. She woke up screaming, and Fawn found and rescued her.
Julietta moved on from this incident (when it came to Fawn). But Fawn remembered Julietta, since in their meeting Julietta claimed nobody cared about her. Fawn, a stranger, told her she cared. She kept caring, even when Julietta was falsely accused and sentenced to death.
Fawn believed she found a kindred spirit, since both of their families abused them. But she couldn't get close to Julietta because of their difference in status. After Julietta died, Fawn gave her a doll so her spirit could rest.
If Fawn had survived the poisoning, would her unborn child have been miscarried?
Yes, there would be a miscarriage. Fawn's pregnancy wouldn't be viable after the poisoning.
Have you read "I abdicate my title as Empress" or seen "Yes, May I Ask for One Final Thing?" I'm curious to know ur opinion, if you had read/seen it tho
Yep! I've read both of them. Spoilers for both below btw
I'm way behind on "May I ask for One Final Thing" but I have the Japanese physical copies (since I don't think they are making an English version of the manga physically anytime soon). I liked it a lot. Kind of wish the heroine wouldn't have a love interest though, I personally can't stand know it all prince types. The anime english dub is amazing though! Perfect casting for the FL.
As for "I Abdicate My Title As Empress", I also read this title (all the way through until the end). I really like the art style, and even though it isn't very close, it gives me a "frutiger aero" vibe if that makes any sense. It's very crisp and airy. My only complaints are that Diane should've lived (though she went out much better than Rashta), the emperor should've had a bit more depth, and the character expressions were static at times so the high emotional points didn't hit as hard as they should've.
But I loved how the FL actually cared about people. Like, she went out and helped those in need because it was the right thing to do instead of thinking about what she would get out of it personally. She was also quite active as a character. If someone told her to let her people die she would ignore them and help anyway.
Overall, if there's a physical release, I will definitely buy one!

I hope your family is doing better. Thank you for continuing to write & draw during (what I can only assume) was a dark and difficult situation.
I have a question: will we ever find out what happened to Farhan? (Nasir's brother)
Thank you, my family is doing better. ( ^ _ ^ ) My parent is having health issues, but they are currently getting treatments.
As for Farhan, he's one of the reasons that Nasir write his book. So yes, we will have a follow up on Farhan and what happened to him. :)
Whilst rereading your maid isekai story, I realized it has something I've noticed other rofan stories have been lacking:
Real genuine affection between the characters.
It might sound strange, since there are rofan stories out there with friendships and close family knit bonds. But most of them feel shallow, and that they have a sense of entitlement, manipulation and callousness. That most friendships is because of the characters feeling like they can use the other for something.
With your characters, I see that those who are friends genuinely care for one another. And those who aren't friends still do nice things for those who they see needed comfort, without expecting anything back.
It genuinely made me cry. The reason is because I noticed how a lot of the rofan stories made me emulate that callousness. Yours made me remember that caring for a stranger is just as important.
(Sorry if this got a bit weird...)
Wow! Thatâs amazing, Iâm so honored that the portrayal of friendship in Isekai Maid resonated with you.
I think in the world Isekai Maid, when there is so much injustice and unfairness in the setting that slipping into callousness and becoming self centered would be appealing. And I think many would use it to cope with the reality they face, whether itâs reincarnators or people who live have always lived there.
But people need kindness, and bonds. They need sincerity and empathy. And in a hyper capitalistic world where technology advances but everything stays the same, itâs their greatest defense.
I've compared between some of the panels you've worked on, and I love how you pull colors off! Especially shades of grey, blue/green, and brown/maroon/red. Do you script the colors when making an episode?
Thank you so much! I usually donât use color scripts, but I do have a lot of gradient maps I love to use.
The ones below have been used since very early in the series. Iâll add my favorites once I get back to my computer!
Just wanna let you know that I always binge-re-read your isekai maid webtoon after Ive read some disappointing webnovel (most where an abusive male lead has been put on a pedestal and forgiven by the narrative after doing the bare minimum). Your story is the most cathartic read there is, and I hope there was more webtoons like that out there.
Thank you so much! ( ^_^ )
I'm happy that you enjoy Isekai Maid! :D It was very cathartic writing it. I really hope people make more manhwa/manga/comics that look at certain tropes with a more critical eye in the future. We get a ton already that would be considered critical, but sometimes I feel like many don't go as far as they potentially could.
What exactly does Marinus want with Bridgette? Initially I thought it was just to kill her. But then he started an elaborate scheme to essentially I guess bully her by sending maids and references to the original story to hurt her feelings - it even gets to a point to where his alternate self is telling him to get over it (but then again he's from a universe where she didn't evade him so that's probably why he isn't so fixated).
I don't even think he knows about the union, from what I've read, just that she's mildly "meddlesome" when it comes to protecting maids.
What does he want??
Bridgette in this timeline survived instead of dying by his hand, so she is basically the embodiment of denied catharsis. Because of her, his relationship with Anette (who he didn't even care for) was undone. She constantly gets away with "disrespecting him".
He's upset, since all his life he was taught that maids in her position are disposable. His birth mother was disposable, and if he doesn't conform to what society wants, he will be disposed of as well. So seeing someone like Bridgette, a foreigner, a brown skinned woman, get into positions of small power like head maid, when she was basically offered to him as a sexual pawn by her employer's daughter in the fifth chapter is to him like a slap in the face to his status.
He hates her, because she reminds him of a mother, in the bad way. Not like the good way with Anette who in the first timeline made excuses and took on the burden of his emotions. And he killed Anette anway.
In a way he wants an eternal mother in both women. But Bridgette yells at him to improve and gets away with it. In his mind he put his heart out to her to coddle him, but she refused. She chides him even though she is of lower status of him.
She and Iseul are now in charge of themselves, have taken back their power from him, and he HATES that. Because he feels like his life is out of control. He wants her gone, but also doesn't know exactly what to DO with her. If he kills her, the thrill is gone, what will he even do after that? So he bullies her.
He wants her to know her place. Which is in servitude to the upper class, but mostly to him. He wants to break her and make her feel small. To always be afraid of what he might do. Because even though he knows his other self screwed up the timeline where Anette gave him another chance, he believes that Bridgette should also sacrifice herself for him and his wants. Because maybe then, he'll find a way to be happy, even if he has to sacrifice servants to do so.

I know that Bridgette's Modern-Incarnation reads a lot of Isekai stories, many of which parallel with her past reincarnations.
Has Phoebe ever read any of those stories? For that matter, had Iseul? Have either of them realized how many crossovers are in this RoFan world? I'm curious about what they might think about Lady Julietta, or Young Duchess Belliana, or Haena Soo and the Empress-- either as historical figures, or fictional characters, or both.
Phoebe hasn't read any of the stories that have been mentioned. Her information only comes from Flowers Thrive in Autumn.
Belliana however, has most likely read "A Piece of the Crescent Moon" from her world, but failed to connect it with Julietta because her name was different in that version. "Julietta Palladino" was called "Yulieta Falladino" (which happens when one work is translated from one language to another. Names get changed).
Haena Soo's story has been done many times in Rofan and there are dozens that exist. She is just one that happened in this universe, while the others exist in different worlds. The whole "Saintess comes and takes the spot of empress while the "true wife" is left behind plot" has been done a lot, so pinpointing one story is difficult and hard to do for some reincarnators. It doesn't help that her story has been misconstrued by people who deem her a conartist or a fraud.
This is kind of spoilerly, but a lot of readers figured out the secret behind Phoebe not knowing other titles.
Spoilers under the cut
Talking a bit about Narrative Parallels between my protagonist and antagonist in "This Isekai Maid is Forming a Union!"
I couldn't fit this in my author's notes for episode 134 and 135, so I will put it here:
I placed a lot of narrative parallels between Bridgette and Lord Demeter throughout the story. It really shines in this episode. They are complete opposites, but they both have petty aspects to their personalities. :P
spoilers below for "This Isekai Maid is Forming a Union!" webtoon latest episodes, I talk a ton about Lord Demeter and Bridgette:
Double update for "This Isekai Maid is Forming a Union!" tomorrow! ð
Hello, Frostlight. I've been reading through some old chapters looking for information, and I have a question. Connor Nightwolffe says that Teffrah hasn't had a Saintess in over 200 years, referring to Haena Soo (Ch133). However, the timeline in the Sep. 2022 Q&A disagree, as it lists Zoe, a contemporary of Connor Nightwolffe, as having lived ~100 years before the present day and Pepper, a contemporary of Haena Soo, as 200-300 years ago. These points contradict. So how long apart were they?
Hello! I am terrible at math, so I will correct this! I even consulted this timeline, and I still got it wrong oops. Thank you.
It should be closer to being over 180 years. I added some years because Lady Soo was already gone for at least five years by the time Pepper died. Not to mention, she was appointed Saintess as a teenager when she was isekai'd and died in her twenties.
One question: Will you ever release a Spanish translation of Isekai Maid?
ðĨšI'm a Spanish speaker, and I barely speak any English; I had to read your story with Google Translate. It would be amazing if there were a Spanish version someday. I'd even pay for it, something I'd never do with other isekai stories. But your story really impacted me because of how you develop your characters and how you address social problems that exist in our world, even today.
Hi there! Thank you so much for reading Isekai Maid, despite there being no Spanish version available.
I noticed that I have a lot of Spanish speakers who read Isekai Maid, and I'm always happy to see their comments! You're definitely right. I really do need a Spanish version of my webtoon (I would really love to have multiple Latin American versions). That would make it much easier for those who speak the language to read it.
When in the future I have the funds to do so, I would love to hire a Spanish speaker to help me translate my comic. ( ^ . ^ )

Happy late pride! I uh, got some questions, you can ignore if you like.
1. So, kinda wondering, why did you choose the surname Demeter? Was it because it's the name of a goddess?????
2. So, say that Mitya survived the assassination attempt and he grew up to his twenties, would he adopt Helen's outdated beliefs??? How would his presence effect the overall story if he did survive????
3. So, in the timeline where Christina and her family get's executed and the bastard emperor is still into Lady Haena soo, how would that play out? Would he and Haena get married? Or would he eventually execute her as well
4. What would happen to Helen/"Pheobe" during the imperialist Teffrah timeline? (The one where her cousin pretty much killed the Teffrah royal family and uses Claire as a puppet monarch)
Hello!
So, kinda wondering, why did you choose the surname Demeter? Was it because it's the name of a goddess?????
The surname Demeter actually has a few inspirations. The first was my misconception about the goddess Demeter, who in many recent depictions has been portrayed as a helicopter parent. However, the abduction of Persephone is actually more closely aligned with women taking back their agency when men make decisions for them. So instead, I'd like to think that the surnname "Demeter" is about the failure of a parent to protect their child from those who wish to harm them.
The second is the in universe explanation. Demeter's family was given the surname because his ancestor, Joaquin Delgado, was the male lover of the new emperor of Bracktonne--formerly the Teffrah Empire (the one who replaced the ML that got executed for being an illegitimate child). When Joaquin's family casted him out and tried to make him join the temple for being gay, the emperor overturned it and banned the temple from having influence in politics.
In a stunning turn of events, the constitution put in place by the people to have a separation between church and state, which the nobles vehemently opposed and had been vetoed, was now granted by the emperor to save his male lover. It's the reason why Teffrah has an oddly strict separation between church and state for a monarchy, although one with a constitution.
The name "Dimitri" and all of it's variants, even as a surname are banned in Teffrah outside of the royal family because it is a symbol of monarchy and the right to rule. The only family who is the exception was anyone with surname "Demeter", which the emperor had granted to his male lover, Joaquin so he could have a new surname. It basically meant that no one could touch Joaquin, and that he was the under emperor's protection. He was also granted the title "The Duke of Southern Bracktonne".
tl;dr, the in universe reason why the Demeter's exist is because their male ancestor was banging the emperor. It's why they are allowed the variant of the name "Dimitri". Though this fact has been much downplayed recently, with the Demeter's and nobles saying that Joaquin was the emperor's "hunting buddy" and saved his life.
So, say that Mitya survived the assassination attempt and he grew up to his twenties, would he adopt Helen's outdated beliefs??? How would his presence effect the overall story if he did survive????
If Mitya survived, he would be a momma's boy. Very much under his mother's influence and control. His closeness with his mother is actually one of the reasons he was taken out. He would not be ok mentally, and his survival would most likely mean Claire Tree wouldn't have been born. But most likely, he'd be the "crazy yandere" prince character his father was but with a more calm demeanor. He'd have to run away and live in seclusion to really heal.
So, in the timeline where Christina and her family get's executed and the bastard emperor is still into Lady Haena soo, how would that play out? Would he and Haena get married? Or would he eventually execute her as well
In the timeline where Empress Christina was executed, it would play out a lot like the Abandoned Empress. The Emperor would get tired of Lady Soo and consider her stupid because he sheltered her from the world to the point she was dependent on him.
The monarchy would be overthrown altogether. Lady Soo would also be executed, very regretful that she knew nothing and didn't use her power to help others.
What would happen to Helen/"Pheobe" during the imperialist Teffrah timeline? (The one where her cousin pretty much killed the Teffrah royal family and uses Claire as a puppet monarch)
Phoebe be killed as soon as she handed Claire Tree to her cousin. His use for her is over. She provided an heir that he could easily control and she was hated by the people of Kolt. He'd hand her corpse over to them as a way to get people to rally for Claire Tree to be the ruler of both countries.
sm1 asked me to draw your character!!! she is really beautiful and I hope I didn't mess anything up. I'm not a reader, so it was a bit hard for me to get what are her features and what is a style choice. I'm sorry if something is off
Your art is so beautiful! Thank you for drawing Bridgette! ( ^ _ ^ )
