Future
When I was growing up it was stated that we would all be wearing jetpacks and be using our airspace like the Jetson's, but so far none of these things have surfaced. Nor can we teleport. Will we ever see these developed?
Do you remember your dreams?
Why are dreams so hard to remember? As we sleep our heads are flooded with images of people, animals, places, objects and memories. We see vivid color and intricate details. Very little of this information is retained. Why?
Once we wake, our dreams are quickly forgotten. What if your pillow could collect your dreams and when you wake you could download them to your computer?
Why do we get angrier as we get older?
We also lose patience a lot quicker.
Shower Design
I am curious as to why we shower standing up and why there are cultural differences between shower designs. I haven't been able to find any answers as to why we tend to shower standing up. I guess it's just a practicality thing. Although, I did find that a German designer has come up with a Horizontal Shower, although I'm not sure how practical this is.
Showers are a fundamental fact of life for some civilized people. The first showers are thought to exist during the Chaldean empire. In most third world countries, people still use buckets and ladles for bathing instead of showers. Some cultural differences I have come across on my travels have been in France and Italy. France tended to have hand-held shower attachments (very frustrating when you want to wash your hair) and also why would the French not put curtains on their showers? Is it because they don’t use them? Or because they learnt to take showers without flooding the entire bathroom, or because they like to make fun of guests? Every time I've taken a shower in France, I end up cleaning the floor.
And how about Italian showers with their safety cord. It’s typically a white string that extends all the way to the ground. I'm sure there are 100 more false alarms than real emergencies, rendering this contraption basically useless.
For me there are really only three major things that make a good shower: 1) a good temperature control, 2) an even stream of water, and 3) the ability to screen the shower so water does not splash over the entire room.

Can you tell if you have cancer by your smell?
It’s no secret that dogs can tell when something is bothering their humans. But now it’s been determined that they can tell when things are off with our bodies as well. Studies show that diseases give off odours that dog’s noses are strong enough to smell, and with a little training they can determine who is sick and who is not. I'm curious with a little bit of training if humans will ever be able to do this also?
WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
Human Memory? I guess you can have dream memories but that still counts as a human memory right?
My earliest memory is my 3rd birthday and being terrorised by a clown.
