Spoilers kinda:

uhhh strings symbology… I really like hearing everyone’s interpretation of them but for me it was something like- Alone discovering they’re not real, questioning themselves, questioning if anything ab them is real, are their tears real (so they appear as strings in this since alone was a doll)

This chapter is almost like she’s becoming sentient for the first time- but not actually?? She was conscious and in control the whole time- it was her mind that was dead-set on behaving the way low’s imagination originally… headcanoned?? LOL IDK BRO she could’ve made her own decisions- and she DID, but it’s hard to tell when you’re now questioning your entire reality lolol

Also I don’t think low is evil or a bad person for hiding the truth from her. I will touch more on it- and i have hinted in earlier chapter (I think during a flashback?) that Low eventually forgets Alone was ever a doll, which is the main reason. But again. They’re kids, they are traumatized and sad…. But ye this’ll come up later in the story so I won’t share anything beyond that 🐈
