i'm doing ok, thank you so much for asking!!

little update since i haven't been active in like Years. i'm a sophomore in college right now, i'm an english major. had a tough time last semester, i dropped a class and failed a class so i had to take summer classes to get the credits to keep my scholarship but i'm confident that this year will go better! this last week has been rough bc i had covid but i'm all good now so i should be able to get back to normal shit in the next couple days!

i have a really tight knit group of friends and two partners!! (i love polyamory lmao) i'm far more transmasc than i thought so thats super rad. i've made a lot of progress on my general "learning to love and be loved" journey and it's been hard but really good!

i still write a lot! i mostly write poetry these days, but i'll get into short stories in a creative writing class next semester. i also write songs a lot more than i used to, which is super fun. did i ever mention on here that i'm a musician? i can't remember

idk i've had my ups and downs but overall i'm doing really well and i couldn't be more happy with where i've ended up. how are you all doing?? i'd love to hear from anyone who's around!

hello friends i am alive!

so i just wanted to pop in to give a little life update and talk about my plans for this blog moving forward bc i miss writing and i want to come back

so for starters, i'm a high school senior now aaaa!!! i'm literally applying to college as we speak it's so wild. i quit my year-long job at taco bell a few months ago and i'm looking for something new. i wrote my first full song on friday and i didn't hate it so i wanna write more songs but i got laryngitis on saturday so i can't sing rn and it's driving me nuts. i've gone to more concerts this year than i've been to in my whole life (bears in trees, guardin, my chemical romance, and i might see bears in trees a second time in december). my mental health has been pretty good most of the time so i think i'm getting closer to thriving every single day.

as for my plans for this blog, i think i'm going to move away from youtubers for now. i still love them and i definitely want to continue writing for them but less often bc i just got burnt out after writing for the same group for over a year. i think i'm going to start writing for tv shows more often now. i've been thinking about writing for gilmore girls since i finished it in august and i've started buffy the vampire slayer and criminal minds since then so i would definitely write for those as well. if you guys have any requests for these shows, please feel free to send them in but keep in mind that i'm only in season 3 of both cm and btvs so pls no spoilers or anything.

guess who isn't dead!! it's me!! i had a bit of an impromptu hiatus of sorts and school is kicking my ass at the moment but i had the motivation tonight to fix a couple things on my blog and i wanted to give you all a little update and ask for some thoughts!

first off, i fixed my links!!! when you change your url, any in-post links quit working so unfortunately my masterlist was out of commission until i had enough functioning executives to fix it. thankfully, i finally got it done and i also dated all the fics so you guys know when they're from!

secondly, i'd like to get back in writing but i have 25 requests started in my notes app and a million more just sitting in my askbox, waiting for attention that they may never get bc they're kind of a lot. so this is where you guys come in! i would be inclined to clear out the entire box and start fresh bc the numbers are a bit overwhelming but i also despise losing things so i'd hate to just delete all those requests. i have a couple ideas of what i could do that i'll tell you all tomorrow when it's not 1:30 am and i don't have to struggle for my words. but if any if you have ideas of what i should do, outside solutions would be much appreciated!

i had a nightmare the other night so i bless you all with sbi and teen reader who has nightmares. i hope you like it :) warnings: mentions of nightmares and their physical effects (waking up with shakes, cold sweat, etc.) but it's all brief and pretty mild

PHILZA • phil has a sixth sense for when his kids arent well • you wake up gasping in a cold sweat from your nightmare and phil is out of bed moments later to check on you • he knocks on your bedroom door and only enters after hearing a muffled and shaky 'come in' • he finds you curled in on yourself with your covers pulled up so far that only your eyes are visible above them • phil hugs you tight against his chest and gently rubs your back while you tell him what happened in your dream • after you've calmed down a bit, he convinces you to go back to sleep but just to make sure you're ok, he stays in the big chair next to your bed until morning

TECHNOBLADE • when techno sleeps, he doesnt notice anything outside of his room but the minute you open his door he's wide awake • you hover nervously outside his room for a moment, still quite shaken from your nightmare, debating whether or not to wake your brother • you finally decide that it's worth it to bother techno, considering that you'll burst into tears if you're alone any longer • you quietly turn the door knob and slip into techno's room, finding him reaching for his sword until he realizes it's just you • "hey what are you doin' up so late?" he asks softly, sitting up as you walk briskly to his bed • "nightmares," you whisper back. "move over." • techno makes room for you as you climb under the covers and curl into him as he wraps his arms around you protectively • he's warm and safe and you know that he wont let anything happen to you during the night

WILBUR • you wake shaking from your nightmare with tears running down your face • after a few minutes of breathing and calming down, you decide you cant be by yourself anymore so you climb out of bed and head into will's room • his door is already cracked open so you enter and close the door with a soft click • will still hasnt woken up so you crawl under his covers while gently pushing him to the side with your hip • he begins to wake up now, rubbing at his bleary eyes "i- what?" he mumbles • "i had a nightmare," you whisper. "please scoot over, i have no room" • will wakes up a little more, noticing how shaken you are, and does as you requested • he pulls you tight to his chest as he gently strokes your hair • "wanna talk about it?" he asks • you shake your head and he nods and begins to sing a lullaby as you relax and allow yourself to fall back asleep TOMMY • tonight, instead of going to your family, you first head to the kitchen to splash some water on your face and get a drink • as you're leaning over the sink, spaced out while remembering your bad dream, you feel a hand on your shoulder • you jump and whirl around, fists at the ready, only to find tommy looking almost as frightened as you • "for christ's sake man, what was that about," he mutters, filling a glass of water for himself • "sorry tommy," you sigh. "you surprised me is all, i didnt hear you come in." • "another nightmare?" he looks sympathetic as you nod slightly, avoiding his gaze • tommy took a sip of his water. "would it help if you slept in my room? it's been a bit cold in there tonight, i wouldnt mind the company. yknow, extra body heat an' all." • you smile a little, nodding as he finished his drink and led the way back to his room • tommy lets you lay closest to the wall, "for safety" as you used to call it, and the two of you drift off to sleep as the fear from your nightmare slips softly away

it's been a while since i posted hugs from the bench trio and i realized that i had tommy and tubbo all wrong but i dont feel like rewriting both of them so!! hugs from tommy!! -------- • ok tommy is a Hugger™️ • remember him running at george during the first meetup vlog?? the kid loves his hugs • very enthusiastic about showing affection • will sprint at you to tackle-hug • picks you up too. maybe shakes you a little. especially if he hasnt seen you in a while • likes to cuddle on the couch with you • maybe you put on a tv show in the living room and take a nap together • be careful though bc if he's hugging you in his sleep, he Does Not Let Go. you're stuck. you have to get up? too bad, tommy is using you as a teddy bear and you're not moving any time soon. • when you stay at his house overnight, he likes to drag you outside to lay on a blanket in the backyard and look at stars with him • impromptu sleepovers where you accidentally crash at his place are a pretty common occurence • maybe you're both curled up on his bed watching youtube and suddenly it's midnight and "oh, you cant walk home now y/n, it's too late" and then it's 1am and your eyes are heavy and then it's 2 and oops, you're asleep oh no how tragic /s • if he wakes up at any point and you've gone to get a glass of water or use the bathroom, he'll wander through the house in a half-awake state blearily calling your name until he finds you • loves cooler months bc he can use "i'm cold and want to steal your body heat" as a reason to cuddle with you • to conclude, tommy is one clingy motherfucker but in the best way possible and i care him
