History:Â Built in 1871. by an italian architect, Giovanni Cettolo, with only 1 floor, this building was used for official government meetings. In 1892. Cettolo was once again comissioned to work on the building, adding an additional floor, so it can be repurposed into a school, which started operating in 1893. , though only lasting a couple of years before being shut down due to records of low attendance. It stayed abandoned until 1902., when it became an administration building for a nearby hospital and in 1945. it became a psychiatric ward, which it still is today.

Personal note:Â I got inspired by a real life building that actually used to be some kind of meeting office in the 1860s-70s, a school in the 1890s and then also a hospital administration building later, near where I live. The building has unfortunately been demolished in the recent years due to it being super old and unstabel, which I was sad to learn, but it is being rebuilt into a therapy facility for the hospital nearby!
I have deep love and attraction towards very old abandoned buildings, esspecially if it was some kind of mental hospital. Idk what it is about my brain, but I always feel very drawn to them. My mom loves to joke about how I might've been a nurse or a doctor that used to work in that kind of facility in the past or an architect that designed and built those buildings lol. Even though they probably did not look as spooky as they do now, decades later.
Anyways, the description of the lot is a mix of reality that I found through research and info I made up about it to fill in the missing gaps. I hope you enjoy this built and find beauty and possibly inspiration in the spookienss of it like I did :)

The Doctor of the Luna Witch Coven, Aspen Ecko, is a young medical student who wants to use science and medicine to help people and society evolve and stir away from the beliefs that witches can only do harm. However much he doesn't like to admit, he might have to reply on his own magic to help him out a little, but he is confident he can do it.
He is very smart, genius in fact, loves reading and stays up late studying medicine and practising spells and charms. He also has particular love for horses as he thinks they are majestic creatures.
I made Aspen for my own gameplay, but people requested me to upload him so I'm doing it!

Soo the insane asylum challenge in sims 1 was a huge fail!
I asked J.T. nicely NOT to burn down the kitchen...
And then I sent Rose to help (since we are not allowed a smoke detector or a phone), but... she burned down with the kitchen... at least she died a hero.
Then Jesus and J.T. fell asleep in the middle of the fire! And Grim Reaper decided to join the party. Turn up!
But the fire woke them up. Fhew, thank God right?

Soo I was bored and one of my favourite challenges in sims is insane asylum challenge. Now I don’t know how possible it is to play it in sims 1, but I wanted to try it out and see what happenes. I created a back story for each sim (even though I normally don’t t do it because I’m not creative or motivated enough) and I’ll be playing with the top one named Rose.Â
The rules:
- you have to play with one sim only (you’re not allowed to click on other sims and control them)
- there must be 6 sitting spots, 5 beds
- only 1 toilet, 1 sink, 1 shower
- there may be max of 5 skill building objects (computers, stoves, bookcases, mirrors, and TVs don’t count)
- there may be maximum of 1 electronic device
- no burglar alarm, no smoke detector
- must have the cheapest stove and fridge (max. 1 of each)
Goal: reach the top of the career of your choice or max out all the skills of your sim

64 Gunther Goth Highway, The Morris Cottage. I had a lot of fun with this one since I love little cottages and cabins. I would tottaly live here if I could. I might even make a sim me to live there.

This is what happenes when you don’t play sims for a few months
Her name was Kim Starr and all she ever wanted was to become a famous actress and fight for women to succeed in the world of fame. She went out with the fire that burned her first dinner. It’s so sad to die on an empty stomach :’(
Mortimer said his goodbyes to Cassandra and Alexander when he knew it was the time. Later that night Grim Reaper knocked on his door and Mortimer greeted him like an old friend (yes I just used a Harry Potter reference).
Grim thanked Mortimer for being a good son, husband and a father and sent him on a never ending journey to the unknown world.Â
Mortimer gladly accepted and was escorted by hula girls.
Even though Alexander, Cassandra and Leroy are in grief, they are happy that Mortimer filled his life with joy and happiness and they hope he will find it again.
Mortimers urn was not placed in the family graveyard, but instead next to a painting of his still missing, beloved wife Bella so they can maybe cross paths in some other life.
Okay so I took a break from the Goths today and did a makeover of a house in Veronaville.Â
It’s the house at 26 Via Veronaville street and was a starter home but after my makeover it costs 69,614 simoleons.
It’s 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house (ik little weird to have 2 bathrooms and 1 bedroom). It was previously 2 bedroom house but I wanted to make little office area upstairs and it turned out pretty well.

Cassandra is now married to Darren Dreamer and has moved in with him and his son. Darren’s last name is Goth though because the wedding happened at the Goth residence so he took her last name.
And for some reason Darren and Cassandra decided to get married next to the wedding arch instead of underneath. Weird but whatever makes you two happy.
Cassandra didn’t like the first dance as you can see on her face. But she looked like a real life princess anyway (more like real sim princess. Get it? ‘Cause it’s not real life... No? Nevermind).
Gunther Goth and Simon Crumplebottom decided to show up at their granddaughters wedding which I think was very nice of them.
