Plunging right into the soothing darkness for this category… just try to not get lost.

Unsurprisingly, everyone’s favorite number one salesman Spamton G. Spamton… is the number one vote! Followed by our beautious Lady Grace, Queen and in third place, certified Mike™ and theorist, Battat!

Before we move on, we simply HAVE to shout-out this quote one of you left for us in this category. Us mods still quote it to this day. Truly inspiring in its infinite wisdom.

💚 Secret third thing...???

Sometimes we have to walk between the lines, where light and dark blur… There, in the in-between, secret third things might await us. Allegedly some of them are green.

Our interest check closed shortly after Chapter 5 dropped, which definitely cut the time for certain newer and… flowery candidates to shine. But do not worry, they will get their spotlight in the zine.

This however, might explain why the option “None” made first place here, but a certain old man and an annoying dog still made second and third place, so we’re calling this a win nonetheless!

And would you look at that, some flowers DID make it on here!

💗 Shout-Outs

Giving everyone the opportunity to shout-out the ships they are especially passionate about was of utmost importance to us… And we are happy to report that you folks didn’t hold back on providing us with a huge variety of ships! Take a look!

A chance for the poly ships to shine! The more, the merrier! What's the saying again? Everyone prefers TVs, right?! Right!?

💗 Bonus Content Stats

We’ve made it to the final round… the bonus round, even… because it’s about… bonus content… (uh-oh. WE’RE RUNNING OUT OF MATERIAL QUICK KEEP GOING WE’RE LOSING THEM)

First of all, the stats for the potential Crossover Ship content... the majority of you clearly had a preference for Caine (TADC) x Tenna as a crossover ship, give it up for our beloved ring master!

Next, the NSFW side zine and Yumeshipping side zine, with the NSFW side zine being the one you folks seem to be interested in the most... 👀

For now, no final decision in regards to any bonus content has been made by the mod team, but we're working on it and your feedback definitely helps!

We’ve made it to the end… to everyone who’s made it this far, thank you for your time, it means the world to us.

What’s next, you ask?

Well, we’re going to open our mod apps today! With a bigger team, our planning will be a lot easier. We’re eager to get this show on the road!

💗 General Stats

We’ve already expressed our awe and gratefulness over how many responses we’ve gotten over the time our interest check was running.

The same goes for the amount of newsletter subscriptions and the great interest the majority of you showed for this project to become a reality!

💗 Contributor Stats

A great number of you were open to supporting this project in multiple ways, mostly as a buyer and a contributor of some sort.

We’re very happy to see how much interest you’ve shown and grateful for the suggestions you’ve made. Cosplayers and music artists will definitely be part of our line-up of special creatives.

You’ve named 28 contributors you’d love to see be part of our zine. As for now, decisions still have to be made, but your voices have been heard!

A look at the script for the first two pages ^

I wrote this comic about genderqueer Selina for the DC Pride Zine! The purpose was to show her defining her gender through concepts of visibility and of verbs, rather than nouns. And of course, Eiko needed to have an appearance.

It was my first time writing a comic script and sooooo much harder than i thought it would be. Shout out to laz for betaing it :3

CassiferLynn brought the story to life in the most beautiful way!! As you can see above, the art is so so gorgeous with such a beautiful colour scheme. I could not be more pleased with how it turned out, and I am so wowed by the amount of work he put in to it.

I will keep it short, but our apartment botched a repair job and caused our apartment to be rained into. It is supposed to rain tonight. Not only that, but when they assessed the damage, we found out we have to move.

What inspired you to write this story?

Selina Kyle is one of my favourite characters, and I am so drawn to her fluidity in both motion and life. *Batman/Catwoman: Trail of the Gun* features a short scene where she applies that fluidity towards donning masculine disguise. Seeing her in that baseball cap and jacket lit a strong spark of inspiration, and I've been thinking about her relationship with gender (and non-conformity) ever since.

What does this story mean to you?

To me, the story is ultimately about visibility, fluidity, and sense of self. Selina tries to control how and when people see her—in heists, and gender, and relationships, and even with herself in the mirror. It was important to me to try and capture her sense of gender in a more abstract way than just noun-driven labels. 

What do you think readers will love about this story?

I think they will really love the art. CassiferLynn did such an incredible job with it, especially in the beautiful colours that accompany you through the adventure. I hope they'll enjoy stepping into Selina's world for a day!

I love the story, it hit me right in the nonbinary feelings when I read it for the first time. I'm a big fan of when gender is described in abstract terms.

The ending page is my favorite! It took me a few tries to land on a pose I liked for Catwoman and I think it may be my best work of the year.

These panels feel like a good snippet since the comic has a lot to say about gender. I like how the sequence turned out, simple but (hopefully) effective.

Hello hello hello! It is so lovely to be posting this very exciting event! Us head mods have done some plotting, and wanted to open up some fun to the community!

We have made a disability bingo, as you can see by the images on this post. There are 25 total prompts and we will have some prizes as well! Minimum requirement is a complete sketch, or 500 words, per prompt.

~ For a bingo: you will get to pick from one of at least 6 mini emote packs! (There may be more!)

~ For a blackout: You will get ALL of the emotes!

BONUS: For the first five people to complete a blackout that is either at least line art, or a minimum of ~1000 (± 75) words per piece you will get a free digital copy of the zine when it releases next year!
