Premier Printemps - collective exhibition

Transformer (to transform) is a piece about getting rid of an old self. I wanted to embody, aestheticize and share the process of sloughing. But the left skin is not for us to throw away, it's to be exposed, shared, remembered and treated with respect as it reminds us of the process leading us into a new and hopefully better self.

How does skin embodies the bridge between intimate and political ?
