11 years ago today Phish announced their triumphant return after a 5 year hiatus. The venue, Hampton Coliseum. It was this very event, and the ridiculous scalping of these tickets that caused Brando and his brother Dusty to create the first and only website for real fans to buy, sell, and trade tickets at face value. In Feb 2009 they launched CashorTradeForYourExtra.com. Later it became CashForYourExtra.org, and finally CashorTrade.org. They went on tour that summer promoting the platform and set up a Trading Tent on lot. By the end of the summer CashorTrade has 5,000 users. Today CashorTrade has tickets to over 3,000 artists and 200,000 members from every state in the nation and 20 countries. Together we are the change this industry so badly needs.
