Casey is the nice young man every Nonna brags about to her friends. He's the baby of his family and was bullied raised primarily by his two older sisters. From a young age, he learned about the injustices of the world-like how being heroic can cost you your life-and that bad things certainly do happen to good people. Case was only six when his father, a volunteer firefighter, passed away, leaving his mother to work multiple jobs to keep the lights on. Seeing how his mom struggled and how life can change for the worse on a dime, it shaped his world view and his compassion for others.

He has an unshakable sense of hope that was nurtured by his family and his love of superheroes. Shortly after his father died, his friends tried to cheer him up by sharing Spider-Man and Superman comics, seeing as both lost their family in some way but learned to use their powers to help others in spite of it all. Since then, he's been eager to make the world a better place.

Outside of school, Case is a huge, capital N, Nerd. His story is the classic cliché of a teacher roping the most unassuming boy in the class and making him the lead of the play. Well, ever since his 8th grade production of Guys and Dolls, in which he played Sky Masterson, he's been hooked on theatre. He also loves reading and staying goofy because life is too bleak to be anything other than fun.
