Miss me?

I forget to post anything when life gets crazy... This past weekend was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I surprised Javier with a 40th birthday party, had his brother and family in town. Seeing Javi so taken back and surprised with incredible.

More later, when I get pictures uploaded.

My first blog post....

This never posted, I was reading it and realized I wanted it out there in blog land.

I am not sure how to start this other than to tell you about my week so far….

Monday was spent driving back in from the Dallas area, we had been in Texas and New Mexico since Thursday morning early for a business meeting and my sisters wedding.

Tuesday was back to work (crazy catch up!) and learning that my boss and his wife would be allowed to travel on Thursday (two days later) to China to pick up their beautiful daughter. I have been working with them on the adoption paperwork for several years, this news was so exciting!

Tuesday night was our weekly sand volleyball game and it kicked my butt…

Wednesday was spent working on the final paperwork that needed to go with the Boss to China and the afternoon and evening was spent at their home helping Mrs Boss to get ready. it was such an amazing time, I am glad that I was able to be a part of this experience…

Today (Thursday) we have our last training class for ShiShi, our Chinese Shar Pei.

This has been a crazy busy week with more fun to come!!!

LORD, I’ve got to admit, I’ve already wasted a big chunk of Today because I’ve been thinking about yesterday and worried about tomorrow. I know you want me to embrace the fullness of the Present, but my own fear, stubbornness, doubt and regret all get in the way. Forgive me. Please let this prayer be my prayer Today and everyday from now on. Father, in Jesus’ Name I’m asking you to change the world through me Today. Please cancel all of my own plans and replace them with Your Plans. I know your plans are better even when I don’t fully understand them. Please interrupt my routine with people who need to be encouraged and helped and give me the Grace and Wisdom to help them. Please clear my mind of my many past regrets and future plans, I know that you’ve already paid the price for my past and paved the path to my future. Today and everyday, my life is in your hands. Please forgive me of my pride, doubt and selfishness and give me the strength to be free from every form of sin. I know that all sin starts in my mind, so renew my mind with your Truth and guide my thoughts and my actions. Please help me to see the world through your eyes, Today. Help me to see people and love people the way that you do. Let me live Today with the focus and resolve I would have if I knew it was my last day on Earth. Use me as a living instrument of your Grace and Love. Today is a day that you have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Thank you for the countless Blessings in my life. Today, please help me to choose an Attitude of Gratitude. I love you, LORD. Thanks so much for loving me and for reminding me with every Sunrise, that you are a God of New Beginnings, Second Chances and Beautiful Grace.

Day 3 of Thankful

I am behind on my post.... Crazy busy lately (but stand on Thankful!)

On Saturday I was thankful for my Parents!! I have an amazing Mom and Dad! My Dad came into my life when I was 9 just before that difficult age, he was always patient with me and loved me through the bad years :O)

My Mom well she is just fantastic!

Keeping this short is hard so I am going to stop here so that this can at least be posted 5 days late!! LOL

Day Two: My Husband

I am thankful for my husband!

Javier is the most amazing man I have ever met! God knew that I would need a strong, kind, caring, beautiful, fun, spontaneous soul to complete me. I have never had a day or sad moment that he could not make me laugh though.

Baby, I love you more than I ever thought possible!

You are beautiful! AND you are mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a luck blessed girl I am!

30 Days of Thankful!

Today I am thankful for my home, we have been in our home for two years and I love it more each day. There are things I would love to change but they do not make it any less our home.

The night we moved in, installing our stove, we have fire!! LOL
