my adhd meds are soooo subtle but I think they do work because if I am not given the chance to finish a task im working on I get quite annoyed. which is maybe not a good thing? but. it’s pretty manageable and preferable to before where I basically could not do any tasks without gargantuan effort or from being motivated by fear. my boss is suddenly obsessed with decorating the entire library and she wanted to put up American flag decorations (gross) around the Carnegie library exhibit she made me research and produce (took literal days of work away from my actual job lol), but anyway she kept saying she wanted “old-timey, vintage decorations” instead of the American flag stuff that’s already down in the storage room, so she tasked me with doing it but I didn’t because gross, so she took it upon herself and ordered some “tea-stained vintage” bullshit from Amazon and it literally.
