after getting ronnie into bed and letting him fall asleep with the tv on, she walked in to see olive giving devon kisses on their bed and flailing her arms with happiness each time she did it right. moochie was getting so big and there was no doubt that it meant so much to have her parents together all the time. ronnie loved devon, he liked being active, one of the guys - running around with him, playing catch with any ball and being able to provide that at her home for her son was something she never thought she was capable of doing. slipping into her closet, she got undressed and slipped on just one of d’s old shirts she had for 2 years now and walked out with it falling down to practically to her knees. “this was one of my favorites when i was pregnant with this one. it always felt like you were hugging me in it and smells like you.” cartia said, eyes fully showing she was ready for another pregnancy in this shirt as she slipped into the bed next to devon and peppered his neck and face with kisses before doing the same to her daughter to achieve her cutest giggles. “ronnie fell asleep talking about how he can’t wait to show you a new touchdown dance tomorrow that he just came up with.” scratching the back of devon’s neck with her manicured nails, her head moved to press against his, cheek to cheek, as their daughter was easily taking cartia’s phone as if it was her own and yelling in baby gibberish for her jam, cocomelon. after getting it started for their little girl, she licked over her lips before using her finger tip to tilt up devon’s head to bring his eyes into hers. “how does it feel, being a bonus dad or whatever you feel comfortable calling it. i mean. cause i’ve been thinking and clearly wanting another. a mini you to be exact if i didn’t say that like 100 times as it is in vegas along with other drunken pleas to put another baby in me.” dark brows rose up and down with her smirk as her plumped lips hovered over his shoulder. “i never saw myself wanting too many kids til i found you, and i know most people say it’s the woman’s choice since it’s my body but honestly, i think in our case, it should be both of us deciding how we want to go about having babies, our future and what you’re comfortable with. because i want to make sure we live a life you never regret chosing and im someone you look at and like, feel and see love always.”
