Inspired by Darkwing Duck and RWBY, Detective Dynoraptor is a story within the Super Mario Universe that stars the character of the same name who runs a detective agency called The Sharpeye. It is located in the Primus Empire, an industrial superpower infamous for its crime surge, thanks to the ruthless efforts of two powerful crime syndicates: the Scarlet Bandits and Cerulean Thieves. Additionally, the members of the Primus Council and Brace Investigations went missing during the chaos. Cooperating with 15 other detectives (or “Sharpies” as he calls them) under his command, Dynoraptor searches for the missing groups while solving a series of grisly murders that may be connected to the empire's coldest case: the murder of renewed environmental engineer Arthur Sharplock.

DD Outbreak AU: years after the plot of DD, Dynoraptor and Razor have a daughter named Maud, a Spinoraptor with expertise on paychology who takes up the mantle of her parents’ successor, Pyresaurus. Since she was young, the detective knows little about her dad Will, who was always too busy to spend leisure time with her compared to Razor. But when the former parent disappeared on a foggy night, Maud becomes determined to solve the case and uncover the childhood enigma of Dynoraptor. Cases later, she uncovers something beyond the fog itself that turns her life upside down. If only her partner—aspiring thief too—Bashebon’s tomfoolery wasn’t in the way…..
