the “transmasc voices project” account is the most transparent twerf psyop i’ve seen recently. do not send anything to them, as they absolutely expected the responses of disgust at the co-opting of a transfem SA survivor project. their shock and “traumatized” reaction to the backlash is the entire point.
scripts for accounts like that are as follows: start off by being blatantly transmisogynistic, claim that “transfem abusers silence us non-transfem victims!!” then when the well-deserved tongue lashings come flying in begin to crytype about how Traumatizing it is to be recognized as the bigot you are, then use it to double-triple down on your original claim that “transfem communities harbor and protect abusers.” it’s a very common tactic bigots of all stripes use, and the whole time it’s just gaslighting transfems about their own oppression, claiming they have some sort of social power to keep tmes silent when they’re victims of abuse at their hands.
as i’d hope most of the people reading this know, the exact opposite is true. transfems are almost never believed when they speak out about being assaulted by a tme person, and there is absolutely no need to “bring awareness” to transfem perpetrators- because nearly every single tme person and their mother already assumes transfems as potential predators, so they’re already predisposed to believe they’d SA someone no matter what!! it’s kind of one of the most major facets of transmisogyny there is!!
sending them asks and explaining why they’re wrong is worse than useless. because they know they’re wrong, and they’re happily using the backlash as ammo for the real message they’re trying to send.
