lucyhale: only one of the pregnancies was planned. The others just happened.

lucyhale: Not every woman wants to be a mother

pedropascal: you didn't want to have kids? did your partners know that?

lucyhale: Thats literally been the fight between me and everyone for the last 11 years. Glad you're caught up now.

pedropascal: never met a woman that didn't care about her kids and only thought about herself but here we are.

lucyhale: youre missing the point. I dont want to take a trip with my kids.

pedropascal: so you don't care about being a mother. i totally get it now. well enjoy doing whatever you do.

lucyhale: you keep bringing up my kids like thats supposed to mean something. I dont have placement of any of my children. Im not allowed to have my kids for an extended period of time alone. Ive only ever been able to have them on a consistent schedule when I had a spouse who could supervise me. So until I have carlos back im not fit to have my children long term.

pedropascal: could you and your family take them on a trip? or till you find someone else and that can supervise you. have you ever had them to yourself or this is something that just started recently?

lucyhale: i made a commitment to carlos. I only want to spend my life with carlos. I dont want anyone else. I dont want to entertain anyone else. Whenever I try I feel like im cheating on carlos because I never left that relationship. I never wanted to. Ill be happy when carlos stops being stubborn and takes me back. And if that never happens its my prerogative to be miserable without him.

pedropascal: you were married before and moved on. you will find someone and move on again. the best thing you can do for you and your kids is start to live again, being miserable doesn't help you or them and it sure doesn't make him entertain coming back because it's what he left. Plan a trip with your kids, maybe go hiking or maybe come to Paris. We had a good time there and it's a great bonding experience. I can't tell you how to live your life but don't cheat your kids out of enjoying time with you and seeing you smile. Life is too short to be miserable and you want them to have happy loving memories of you as they grow up.

lucyhale: i dont want to. I want carlos. I want my life back. That will never change no matter how many times people try to shove a new life down my throat.

pedropascal: it's not trying to shove a new life down your throat. it's trying to get you to be happy again. you won't ever move on and enjoy life if you just wallow in grief and threaten to backslide. If you don't want to be happy for yourself then at least try to be happy for your kids.

lucyhale: nobody that knows me the way carlos does.

pedropascal: now, but once you put yourself out there then you will meet someone. you just have to want to.

lucyhale: carlos always knew how to distract me in the right way. Ive been left to my own devices for too long.

pedropascal: i'm sure there's someone out there for you. you just have to find them.

lucyhale: not talking about that either

pedropascal: backsliding isn't the answer. that's when you should think about your kids.

lucyhale: The kind of bored where I end up doing stupid things. Been left to my own devices for too long.

pedropascal: you're single so you're allowed to have fun.

lucyhale: I. Am. Bored.

pedropascal: what kind of bored?

Maybe we do school year in LA for now and PAris for the summer and if or when we want to change it we can.

I think that's a good idea. Would hate to pull them out of school so I think that might be the best solution plus they have family in the states.
