Fun ain’t it? That wasn’t intentional, but it is cute! Sapphic freckles!!

Rainbow Dash having freckles is both a natural result of wanting to give the characters some fun traits and a holdover from the fact that in my headcanon, Princess Cadence is her biological aunt (a fact which they are both unaware of it doesn’t change anything in canon, it’s just something that exists as a fact in my world) so they both have freckles as a family trait.

Hey, I'm not trying to be rude so feel free to ignore this but I just wanted to say that new version of the sunset shimmer art is really beautiful in terms of style but sunset shimmer looks like an optical illusion. It looks like her torso is facing forward and she's lifting her left hoof but her butt is also facing forward. I also can't tell which way her head/neck is turned. Again, feel free to delete this ask if I'm actually being a bitch.

Not being a bitch, I’m still learnin’ after all. I was trying to sort of go for a more dynamic turning motion where she’s whipping around but I can recognize through this that I didn’t nail it lol. Stuff to work on for next time I suppose!
