Lennon is a fast-talking, high energy, extrovert who befriends the MC, Nettie, as she auditions for the school musical. Lennon’s father is a diehard Beatles fan, and he wanted all boys so he could name them John, Paul, George, and Ringo. But he had girls so their names are McCartney(Mickey) Harrison(Harrie)Lennon and Star. She’s a great friend to Nettie and I just adore her. Nana is an 85 year old chain smoking smart ass. A Facebook memory about Into the Dark popped up for me today, reminding me of how I turned in the draft and the editor thought the story would work better in present tense. She was right, but wow, that was a lot of work. With every book I publish I learn something new, conquer a new challenge, and for that I’m grateful. My point in sharing this with you is to tell you you to try. Push yourself. Challenge yourself. Until you do you’ll never know what you can accomplish. ❤️
