I am an artist, social anthropologist and mother of four, with a dog, chickens, ducks and pygmy goats. I have always been interested in drawing and painting using pastels, oils and acrylics and also sculpting using polymer clay, salt dough and local limestone. Last year, a dear friend gave me the fleeces from her alpacas and pet sheep. I now enjoy felting with all manner of fibres including baby camel, yak, silk, organza and velvet to create unique pictures, animals, jewellery and home/christmas decorations. All my pieces of work are one of a kind (OOAK), sometimes with subtle differences which makes them highly collectible. As needle felting is time consuming, I offer a make to order service for all existing pieces and I am able to take commissions.
