School friends never REALLY understand @carmurph

I often find that some of the most talented dancers out there are completely overlooked, in results and on social media. We (Irish dancers in general) obsess over people like Ciara sexton, Julia O'Rourke and Michaela Hinds (and many more) although they are fantastic dancers, who deserve praise, there is a large number of fantastic dancers who do not receive the same attention in both results and on social media. This is something I don’t understand, there are people who don’t make top 10 at worlds, and some who don’t even medal who I think are deserving of globes and I think we shouldn’t just disregard someone if they don’t medal at worlds or if they’re not a podium placer. There is incredible talent beyond the usual top 5, you just have to look for it and appreciate it.
