listening to rain this gentle patter flowing calm morning darkness

kindness's beautygracefully upon petalsamidst the dew drops

living in this worldof malice and crueltylet's magnify grace

awaiting sunlight car engines join their choir the motion of life

waiting for dawneastern hills remain dark rattling raindrops

a day of rainfall with mists moving through the firsspeaking to my soul

through the coldest rainwhile the bitter wind bites hardwith the sun fading

as gentle mists fallstreetlights flicker through the dreams the song of the night

walking through these streetsunder flickering streetlightswatching shadows play

as the daylight fadesthe mountains burst with colorand birds seek their rest
