“Woah, woah,” Kareem yelled out as he slowed down from his run, taking one of his headphones off before he jogged towards her. “Shit, that was..not good,” he told her and crouched down to secure the ripped bag before he started to kick aside shattered pieces with his foot so it wouldn’t be in the walking path. “Was that important?”

“Aww man, no it wasn’t important. But I just bought these mugs for my sister and I. Mind you I bought an extra one in case one broke...” She finally looked up at the extremely tall man before, “Oh my God you’re tall! I know you probably get that every day, how tall are you?”

Walking inside he smirked, “ Thank you I get that a lot!” He teased as he nodded his head looking at her. “ Coffee please!” He replies as he goes and makes himself comfortable “ Do you have any cakes?”

“Perfect,” she moved around the kitchen getting the coffee from the pantry and readying the coffee maker. “I have a chocolate chip pound cake. Is that ok?” she asked as she searched for two mugs. “How do you like your coffee?”

“Will that be all?” Antonio questioned, as he looked over at the person sitting across from the bar. “Or should I open a tab for you?” It had been a busy night at the club, so he decided to give them a hand. Not that it mattered right now. His shipment wasn’t due until much later when the club was closed. So for the moment, all he had to do was this. Besides he didn’t mind helping out at all, this was his business outside from his father’s business. It was like actually his and none could take it from him. @pbtags

“Keep them coming handsome,” she knocked back her drink, sliding her glass closer to the other. It had been a chaotic day at the restaurant, the owner had fired so many people, the majority of the staff she was working with was brand new, which meant they needed a lot of training. Due to her own lack of being able to say no, she ended up doing the work of three other people.”I should just open up my own restaurant,” she thought out loud.

Turning to have to look at the door he smiled  “ Sure I will come in with you, I will just tell my family where to come and find should I ever go missing!” he teased as he looked at her with the biggest smile on his face.

She chuckled lightly, opening her door for the young man, “you’re funny. Come on in, you can just it there, I’ll throw it away. Make yourself comfortable.” She went straight to the kitchen, washing her hands, “do you want tea or coffee?”

“ Happy to help” He replied smiling as he looked at her  “Where are you going? he asked he was happy to help her carry her things the rest of the way. “ Well thats Portland for you, it’s one of the reasons I love living here

“Right in there, that’s where I live. So I’m sure you see the tragedy in the situation. Steps from my destination...and I drop everything,” she pointed at the door ahead of her. “I don’t wanna seem super creepy or anything, do you want to come in for some coffee or tea? It’s the least I could offer you, since you so kindly came to my rescue.”

Odessa had to wince when she heard the sound of something shattering– she peeked from behind her book and grimaced at the scene. “Well, that sucks,” she murmured, quickly shoving a bookmark into the novel she was reading and getting up to start picking up the bigger shards of what had fallen and broken when it hit the floor. “Sadly, I think it’s unsalvageable.”

“Ugh I know! I just bought those. Ironically I bought an extra one in case one ended up breaking. Just my luck!” She signed heavily, bending down to pick up the rest of the pieces. “Thank you so much, you didn’t have to help me, but you did. Thank you so much. Can I interest you in a cup of coffee? Or tea?” she offered.
