Sofia hadn't even been in the bar more than 45 minutes, nor had she had even close to enough to drink to get to that blurry, goofy feeling. She hadn't even planned on getting drunk, nor had she planned on staying at the bar. More or less, she was being told to go out and to have fun by herself. To not have to worry about Delaney for a night. But, as it turned out, she was one of those people who had a hard time not thinking about the child in question. Sofia was about to bail on the mission, to go home and pick Delaney up on the way, but that was stunted when she stood up and nearly slammed into someone, only just barely stopping beforehand. "I'm sorry," she quickly spat out, "I-I, um.." Trailing off, she shook her head, then gestured toward the stool, "I was just leaving, so you, ym, you're welcome to snag this seat. It's one of the few stools here that doesn't rock when you move and make you feel like you're going to fall flat on your ass."
@carinad
Carina was a single woman and she wanted to have a little bit of fun. She didn't mind the single life, it meant she could go out, find new people to hook up with, and enjoy a night out drinking without worrying about Maya. So when the other woman was stammering out her words, she looked at her curiously. "Why so glum, bella?" Carina asked, taking in her appearance. Everything about her seemed like she wasn't having a good time. "Are you sure you want to leave?" she asked. "Because I would love to buy you a drink."
