It Looked Better In My Head...

Let’s start with ARC-4447, or better known as Mirage. He’s a klutz, trips on his own feet, walks into walls, and is in the med bay often… but has a great head of hair and he knows how to style it! He doesn’t share his secrets on how he does his hair or how he got the supplies to be able to do his hair so nicely almost everyday (most commonly it is 1950’s greaser style) and when it’s not done, it still looks good as curly, floppy mess. He’s charming, a little bit of a flirt, and shows his affection by constantly being in his brothers’ personal space and teasing them. Often can be found close by his best vod, Boomerang, who is a medic with all the jokes. While pretty laidback and easy to approach, he’s got a temper that is not easy to cool down once it’s been activated. Mostly it’s from the heat of battle, or feeling inadequate.

Next is ARC-5572, also known as Shadow. Originally from the 501st, he got transferred to the 952nd after a very obvious bond was formed between him and the other legion. He was a bit of an outcast, having a bit more ‘you jump, I jump’ attitude that even 501st wondered how this kid was alive. Then he met Mirage, and was starstruck. This really cool ARC was letting a rookie like him go with him on patrol and even giving him tips on his hair (“Mirage shared his secrets with me!” “…congratulations.”), and next thing he knew everyone was calling him Shadow. Yes, they were making fun of/teasing him but he didn’t care because he finally had a brother who liked having him around, and after months of being with the 952nd he was promoted and sent to ARC training. While upon first glance, he seems like he’d be Mirage’s copy, Shadow is graceful and rarely acts out of anger, he’s loyal and just happy to help.

Finally, ARC-1434. Lieutenant Fury. This man is a piece of work. His brothers are scared of him, he doesn’t know how to socialize, he only has like two friends, and is just tired and hungry. Fury got his name after punching a training sergeant in the face and being swept away by Commander Havoc to ARC training. He’s the outsider among the 952nd, not belonging to their Legion but also there because he’d have no one if Ace (pilot) and Grimm (medic) left him back on Kamino (A: “we have to take him with us.” G: “he doesn’t know how to make friends.” F: *grunts*). He’s very loyal and you can count on him when you’re in a tight situation, he doesn’t care if he gets shot as long as his brothers are safe. Mirage did not like him when they first started working together, and Fury ignoring Mirage’s distaste in him just made the one-sided rivalry worse until Fury is body slammed by all the trauma, and then Mirage eases up and befriends him. But what makes this serious, awkward, stoic doofus the best… he’s got a crush on the non-Jedi General. He’s very soft for Juliette and doesn’t know what to do about these feelings he has for her and why he wants to hold her hand so badly. If she gave him a kiss on the cheek for doing a good job, he cannot function.
