Sometimes I wonder if I should just completely revamp Xanthe’s Genshin Verse to Young Fatui recruit with Bow. Dendro vision holder with a Pyro delusion. Xanthe entangles you in vines just to light them on fire. It’s a thought but it’s less along the line of her being an outlander and more like she always was there.

“It’s not that bad..." She paused for a moment expecting the hand to leave but it didn't. "It's better this way." That was a more truthful statement. "If people think I'm homeless then they don't look at me and I can steal stuff easier or be a better distraction for other thieves."
Oh right she was not really a thief anymore. Though she didn't really want the attention anyways.
I may have mentioned this in the past but in Xanthe's main verse she is technically nobility. The party she was with freed the land from a Vampire and they were given the title of nobility along with a fortress that was partially ruined. Of course I say technically because they don't really govern the people. They appointed a council to govern themselves. But the group steps in to advise when necessary or protect the area when force is needed. They also help fund the development of the land with rewards from their adventuring. Talk with other nations and get maps made.
Xanthe isn't super amused by technically being nobility and also hates it when the people refer to her as Lady Xanthe.
Also she wanted to get her thumb on top of any criminal activity by organizing the underworld there herself through her own contacts. However the group told her there "would be no need cause there would be no crime." Xanthe was not convinced that would be the case but gave up on the idea for the time being. And now forever since she's abandoned that world.
