First attempt at the style, and I’m happy with how it came out! I’ll have to practice and experiment with this style more.

Still not sure what my MC really looks like yet, so for now, I’m keeping her generic.

Started making some emotion sprites for Genya!

Practicing drawing my Arcana OC, and decided to doodle a rough draft of a CG. Inspired by the Nadia waking up in bed CG.

Edit: Touched up a few things, like the hair and the shadows :)

Up next, I think I’m going to draw different expressions like the Arcana sprites have. While I try to think of an outfit for a full-body drawing 😅

Redid the lineart for my Arcana apprentice, Genya. Definitely looking a bit better. I’ll probably do a colored-in version soon.

Just a few scenes from the book; Genya’s introduction, her Tailoring Alina, her appearance at the winter fete, her scarring after the Darkling’s attack, etc. 

Loved seeing her as the Maiden, even if her scene with Penny was heartbreaking. Might do a fully colored version at some point, but I wanted to try doing something with simple shadows.
