Aww, Anaxa needs a relaxing summer break. Knowing him though, he'll probably be bouncing around conducting research on dromas and alchemy all season long. Nonetheless, the professor will be utterly exhausted right after the spring semester. He finished the school year being absolutely done with academic mayhem.
Your alarm clock will ring and you slowly start getting out of the bed. Suddenly, your husband reaches for you arm. "Mm, five more minutes, okay, dearest?" he mutters sleepily.
"Hm? Anaxagoras, I have to get ready for work," you reply, flabbergasted. "And didn't you ask me last night to make sure you rose early, too? You love staying on schedule."
"Forget that. Just lay down with me for a few more minutes, please." Anaxa clutches his dromas plushie closer to his chest.
You roll your eyes. "Trust me, you'll be a much different person once you've had some coffee. I know you've got some projects you're itching to finish, don't you?"
"Yes, but I can save those for next month."
Sighing, you fully get out of bed, ignoring his attempts of dragging you back in. "I'm getting you coffee."

Thinking about Anaxagoras and a reader who's willing to indulge him in his experiments on them. A reader who sees those shared experiments as a chance to bond. I imagine sparks fly when an experiment requires both reader and him.
When you first approach Anaxa in his office to inquire about his flyer, he is baffled. No one else has taken his ad seriously, which asks for willing participants for his upcoming experiments. To see you happily say you wish to sign up makes him a bit pleased, to say the least.
In truth, you are intrigued by Anaxa's research. You've heard his colleagues say "he's mad, but brilliant." You want to see the truth for yourself. Little do you know the Great Performer would be thrilled at your pursuit for the truth.
For the starting experiments, Anaxa would ask for your thoughts on seeing alchemical equations for the first time. "I'm trying to garner what people's reactions are to new alchemical formulas, especially if they've never studied alchemy before. This will help me develop my teaching plans." The experiment is simple enough, and Anaxa thanks you for your support. He might even show you his new lesson plans afterwards, hoping they will work for next semester's classes. You end up learning more about his curriculum and nearly ask to stop by for a lesson sometime.
The subsequent experiments involve testing alchemical concoctions. Not taking any chances, Anaxa will ask you to sign a waiver prior to trying his experimental creations. He has the lab's emergency phone on standby as he watches you consume each concoction. Thankfully, you're safe, but you appreciate his concern.
"Alchemy can be quite perilous, so I do admire your courage with these tests," he tells you with a smile.
He'll take notes with each respective concoction test. "Mm, just as expected," he'll hum. Before you leave for the day, he'll tell you if you helped prove his hypothesis or not. There's a smoothness to his voice when he does this, and you swear you feel your palms get sweaty from the very sound.
You're surprised when he requests your assistance one day in setting up another experiment. "I don't feel like I can easily do this alone," he explains, presenting the scientific tools on his lab table. "This experiment will take some time to properly conduct, and my publisher is wanting my results by the end of this month. That's next week."
"Of course I'll help you," you smile, taking some worry away from the scholar.
As you help prepare the vials, your hand accidentally brushes against his. You let out a quiet gasp, taking note of how warm his skin is. He glances at you, his eye looking rather soft. You dart your gaze back to the vials in your hands. Nevertheless, Anaxa reaches over you, whispering, "Pardon me," to fetch a pen beside you. His shoulder brushes against yours slightly, and you can smell his cologne. You bite your lip; this must be another test, you think. The professor's likely trying to determine if embarrassment comes when working so close to someone in a collaborative effort.
Sighing, you continue on with your work. You feel a little hurt until you spot Anaxa muttering the formulas to himself rapidly. "Mm, so if we add this right after...yes, that should work." You smile slightly, and your heart skips a beat when the scholar asks, "Hey, would you please be a dear and fetch me my scale? It should be in the closet over there. Thank you!"
The day passes quickly from then on, and Anaxa has a rather giddy look on his face. "Thanks to you, I should be able to translate our findings onto my teleslate doc over the weekend."
"Yay! I'm glad we met our goal," you giggle, happy to see him so pleased.
The jade haired man looks at you and smirks. "I need to properly thank you somehow. ...Would you care to go for dinner with me tonight?"
"Well, this is an unexpected result," you chuckle, happy you said yes to that ad.

Nice, a Guts request! :D And I feel really inspired for him after reading the latest chapter, so let's go!
I used the alphabet template by @occasional-imagines-writer. Also, some of these questions can be pictured for a modern AU, too.
Guts x GN! Reader Fluff Alphabet
A(nniversary) - How do they celebrate anniversaries with their partner?
At first, Guts didn't think anniversaries should be a big deal. He didn't realize you're the sentimental type until Judeau mentioned it to him. "I also noticed your anniversary is coming up, so you should get your lover something nice, don't you think?" his freckled friend would smile.
Guts then buys you a nice meal and apologize for nearly skipping the celebration. You shake your head and tell him it's fine, that his company is what matters most.
B(athroom) - Is their shared bathroom messy or organized? Do they enjoy showering/bathing with their partner?
I think it would be so cute to take a bath with Guts once you both feel comfortable enough to be this vulnerable with each other. Resting against his firm torso while the soapy suds surround you both brings immense relaxation.
Your bathroom may be slightly messy, but Guts is good at cleaning up after brushing his teeth or shaving. You and he may just have a lot of items, like q-tips and soaps.
C(elebration) - What holidays do they and their partner celebrate? What are birthdays like? Do they like hosting parties and meals?
Guts might not know when his birthday is, judging how badly he was raised by Gambino 😭You may ask your lover if he'd let you choose a day where you can celebrate him for a whole day. "We'll make this Guts Day," you cheerfully say.
If Guts says yes, you'll gather all his friends and have a feast in his honor. You'll also get him some gifts, like that new cape he is needing or new boots. Guts will be so shocked, yet it's all from happiness.
"No one's ever done this for me before," he breathes.
"Well, this will be celebrated every year," you reply before kissing him.
D(inner) - Do they eat dinner with their partner every night? Do they do most of the cooking, or at least help with it? Do they like to talk about their day or enjoy a comfortable silence?
Guts tries to make sure every main meal is spent with you. Usually the two of you eat alongside the rest of the Hawks and join group conversations. Since these are group meals, Griffith will have someone assigned to cooking. Sometimes you and Guts will help with preparing the food, working well together in the kitchen. Guts loves hearing about your day, eagerly asking questions about how things went and so on.
E(ntrance) - How do they greet their partner when they arrive home?
When arriving home, your lover will call out your name if he can't immediately find you. He just needs to make sure you're safe. If you greet him at the door, he might happily ask what tonight's plans are.
F(amily) - Do they want to start a family with their partner? Any pets or children? How do they get along with their partner's relatives?
Guts hasn't really thought about it. A part of him would likely be afraid to have children, as he worries he'll be a horrible father. However, he knows what not to do, vowing to himself that he'll never be as wicked as Gambino. In canon, Guts is good with children and wants them safe.
If you can bear children, then, like canon, you and he may have an unplanned pregnancy. You understand this is life changing, but you assure Guts the two of you got this as new parents. If you're wanting to adopt a child, you lovingly tell Guts you can't picture having a family with anyone else. Your heart melts as you see Guts gently hold his child, soothing them until they fall asleep.
It may take some time, but Guts will try to be friendly around your relatives. He finds it interesting to learn more about family dynamics, especially if you have a lot of relatives.
G(roceries) - Do they like to go shopping with their partner? Are they trying to sneak treats into the cart when no one is looking?
Guts is definitely the type to help out with grocery shopping. He may allow you to chose the groceries, figuring you know what's needed. Nevertheless, he insists on paying for the groceries. I see him carrying bulks of items to your wagon (or car in a modern au).
H(ouse) - How quick do they ask to live together? Where do they and their partner move in together? Do they get a new place entirely, or does one just start living with the other?
This one's kind of hard to say. The question may pop up one day during a meal together. One of you might start the question, "Where do you see yourself living in the next five years?" or something cliche like that. The other will cheesily remark, "Living with you, hopefully."
You might live in one each other's homes, just to save some money.
I(ndoors) - What's their favorite way to spend a lazy/rainy day in with their partner?
Based on how we've seen Guts in the rain, I think he's the type to like watching the raindrops fall. He may sit by the window and become entranced by the sight, whether it's a quiet or dramatic downpour. You ask him if you can join, and he'll definitely welcome your company.
J(obs) - Do they work with their partner? If not, do they ever visit their place of work?
You and Guts would both be mercenaries in the Band of the Hawk. It takes some time, but you both place full trust in the other. You also learn each other's battle style and match yours accordingly. The Hawks say you're a power duo.
K(eepsake) - Have they decorated with/displayed any mementos from their relationship?
You might give Guts something to remember you by, like a good luck charm or a piece of jewelry. Guts will place this trinket in his bag and carry it with him during battle. He's often not the superstitious type like Griffith is, but he swears the keepsake gives him good luck somehow.
L(aundry) - Do they help with their partner's laundry, or do they only focus on their own clothes? Do they share a closet or dresser with their partner?
When you finally live together, you and Guts easily share a closet. He might not have an extensive wardrobe, but he enjoys it when you surprise him with new clothes. Without question, Guts is responsible with his laundry. He also will try to clean yours if that's OK. He's actually really good at laundry, and the rest of the Hawks might ask him to do theirs, too.
M(ornings) - What's it like waking up with them? Are they a morning person, or does their partner have to drag them out of bed?
Guts might struggle to wake up some mornings. Mercenary work is such a tolling job, and sometimes he doesn't want to jump right back into it. You let him sleep for a bit before Griffith or Casca comes to your house/room/tent asking what the hold up is.
If Guts wakes up before you, he'll fetch some breakfast for you two to eat in bed.
N(ights) - What's their nightly routine with their partner? Do they go to bed earlier, later, or at the same time? How do they sneak into bed when they've come home late?
Ideally, Guts will try to go to bed around the same time as you. He's somewhat of a night owl, yet he'll change his schedule so he can spend enough time with you. Also, he likes cuddling at night, whether he'll admit it or not. Guts is little spoon, like in the manga lol.
If coming home late from a mission, he may plop into bed beside you. He's utterly exhausted and will easily fall into a deep sleep. It'll take a lot to wake him in the morning.
O(rbit) - Are they constantly at their partner's side, or do they keep to themself more?
I think with Guts it's a mix of both. He finds you very comforting and wants to experience life's big moments with you. However, he also needs time to clear his head, and he prefers to do this alone. Guts also feels a bit self-conscious and doesn't want to trouble you with his concerns.
P(resent) - Do they often bring home gifts for their partner? What do they usually buy?
I can't really see Guts as the type to bring gifts. His love language is acts of service, so he'd rather do something for you, like how he does everything he can for Griffith. If you need something repaired, Guts is your guy. If you want a massage, he'll have his hands rubbing your back in no time.
Q(uarrel) - Do they get into fights with their partner often? Do they let it escalate or try to calm it down?
Based on how he and Casca interacted with each other during the Golden Age, he's definitely (accidentally) getting into arguments with his beloved. It may be over battle plans or something silly. Whatever the matter, you and he may yell at each other for a few minutes before deciding it's not worth it. You'll both apologize and try to move to a different subject.
R(esponsibility) - Do they take on very many chores? Do they complain about it? How helpful are they when it comes to housework?
Guts may grunt about some chores, but he's definitely the responsible type. You and he will have a chore plan worked out, whether for the Hawks' camp or at home. Guts ensures his tasks are accomplished at the end of the day. He may also be sneaky and do some of yours for you, which you say, " You didn't have to!" Your lover will try to make an excuse that he had plenty of time and didn't want to be bored, but we all know he just wanted to spoil you.
S(ickness) - How do they take care of their partner when they're ill? How do they like to be taken care of when the roles are reversed?
We've seen how he treated Casca during her menstrual cycle and Griffith after he was rescued from the torture chamber. Guts is very tender when taking care of others. He tries to have the fullest empathy to their situation and thinks on his feet on how to make them feel a bit better. So, when you're not feeling well, he will ask what you need and instantly bring you things that alleviate your discomfort.
Remember when Casca treated his wounds before they heard Griffith's speech? That's how I picture Guts whenever he's feeling well. He'll be quiet and allow for you to place a wet cloth on his head or bandage him up. There's a sign of appreciation in his eyes.
T(elevison) - Do they watch TV with their partner regularly? What do they watch? (Morning news? Sitcoms? Dramas?) Do they ever fight over the remote?
In a modern au, Guts loves watching sports. He'll often have Griffith, Casca and the others over at your place to watch big games. If you and he like opposing teams, you may have a friendly rivalry going on. "Oh, wasn't that a bad play they made?" you tease about Guts' team, causing him to roll his eyes.
"The game's not over yet."
Your friends laugh whenever this happens.
U(nwind) - What's their favorite way to be comforted when coming home from a stressful day? How would they comfort their stressed partner?
Guts may want to take a quick nap or eat something hardy after a tough day. In a modern au, he'll probably pick up some food from a favorite restaurant to surprise you. You watch him eat quickly, recognizing he's trying to forget about the stresses from today. "Aw, Guts, let's watch a movie tonight, okay?" He stops gobbling and gives you a small smile, happy to know you're here to comfort him.
V(acation) - How often do they take trips with their partner? What is their ideal vacation?
You and Guts like to go on hiking trips whenever you get long breaks from work. It's great exercise and a chance to see some breathtaking sights. Guts loves the snacks you bring on these adventures, munching on them on the trails. If possible, the two of you want to go visit different hiking trails around the world.
W(edding) - Are they and their partner married? Do they elope or have a more traditional wedding, if any?
Guts wouldn't think a wedding is necessary, especially if you and he have been together for a long time. Maybe he'll buy some rings to wear to symbolize your commitment. It's understood through your actions that love and loyalty are valued in your relationship, so no spoken vows are needed.
X - Free Space. Write whatever you want.
Guts wants to tell you, "Thank you." Thank you for loving him, thank you for putting up with him, thank you for accepting his best qualities and his faults. Thank you for inspiring him to reach his full potential.
Nonetheless, he can't find the exact words to express his gratitude. A mere "Thank you" doesn't cut it for him. Thus, he choses to display his thanks through actions. m
Y(earn) - How much do they miss their partner when they have to be away from home for a while? How do they react when they finally return home?
His mind can be swarmed with thoughts of you and your cute face. When he's away from you during battle, Guts focuses intensely on making it out alive. He has to come home to you, hear your sweet voice and feel your heartbeat.
Z(est) - Do they find domestic life boring or exciting? Do they regret choosing this kind of life?
In a modern au, Guts would want to do van life.
Guts would find it difficult to settle down in one place with you, mainly because he's kind of a restless person. Ideally, whatever you two decide to do for the future, he prefers for it to grant mobility. Therefore, you both may get jobs that allow you to do a lot of travelling.

How do u think Griffith will react if like he teased user and ended up in a bit of an intimate, sweet situation and, like they get caught by the other like. Exemple they playing tag or something and Griffith catch user by the waist (like a hug from behind), and u know it's longer than necessary and they just look at each other like with *that* look and someone or multiple persone like caught them at this moment and be like ohhhh that what yall doing. Like how would Griffith react ? Would he just be like nothing happen or get flustered or just be unbothered at all or maybe something else entirely?
Hm, this is a tricky question. I guess, basing off his Golden Age personality, Griffith may try to be a bit open about what was going on while still not revealing too much to the rest of the Band.
He would have his hands on your torso, leaning in to kiss you. Then, all of a sudden, the captains of the Band find you two in this position. They always like to check on Griffith's safety, so to see their leader running across camp suddenly gave them reason to worry. But they weren't expecting to see him doing this.
"Oh-ho, so this is why you were so quick to get away from camp," Corkus laughs.
"Sorry, Griffith, if we've interrupted something," Judeau or Guts would stutter, taken aback by the sight.
Then Griffith would smile and say aloud, "It seems we will have to catch up later, Y/N." With that, he removes his hands off you and departs from the situation.
You're worried he's upset and doesn't want to play these games anymore. Oh, and this had to happen before a kiss, too! However, Griffith makes sure to look back at you and give a wink.
Casca may notice this and ask you or Griffith, "Really, what were you two doing?"
"Um, we were playing tag," you'd admit sheepishly, causing Casca to sigh.
If she asks Griffith, he may plainly state, "Playing tag. I was 'it'." His statement alone would shock her.
Guts, too, would give you a look. Even he and Griffith hardly play games, and they did that water fight that one time.
Needless to say, you and Griffith will have more explaining to do as time goes on.
