"W-well when mama gave it to me, she tied it on my head and it is special to me-" he stuttered, a bit nervous because of Michael’s glaring at it.

"Hm?" He looked at the bit of his headband that hung down near his face, "my headband? What about it?"

"Ah… Can I move my head now?" Where did Uttar get a hair tie so quickly? He didn’t remove the one for his little ponytail, did he?

"Yep! It should stay."

Cardinal smiled and turned to look at Uttar. "Thank you~ Where did you learn how to braid hair?"

A small groan came from Michael. “It depends on what they have planned, exactly, and how it’ll effect others around.”

"O-oh! I thought…" He shook his head, "The demon with grandpa has not hurt any of us, I do not think…" It still frightened him to think about all this, and he fidgeted with his headband.

"De color reminds me more of Bubble gum,but sure!" He replied. "Uh,do yez  ‘ave any ‘air ties?"

"Ah… I don’t carry any around with me. I’m sorry…" Cardinal sighed in disappointment.

"Oh,well den." He took down his ponytail and started tying it up. “‘opefully dis one works."

"It is, isn’t it?" She tried to stay as still as possible this time. "…Does it remind you of cotton candy? People have mentioned that… and sometimes, it makes me crave some. Do you want cotton candy after this, Uttar?"
