"how can you even say that? do you hear yourself!?” ricky was trying not to raise his voice as john was sleeping in the next room, he took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair. “how can you say that i don’t love you? i changed my whole life for you! for john, for US.” it was true, even if it wasn’t fully for amy and john. ricky did change his life and he was in-love with her, even if he didn’t show it as much as he should all the time. “amy- i would do anything for you. for john, if that’s not love. then- i don’t know what is!” 

“so, what brings you to capeside? and who is this cute little one?” jen asked, as she waved to the little girl and then turned her attention back to jake. “i haven’t seen you around, except for the last few days so i assume you’re new around town.” jen shrugged her shoulders and turned her attention back on the toddler. jen loved kids, even though most people wouldn’t peg her as that type, she truly adored them. 

"iz.. what are you doing here?” when alex opened the door to the frat house after a long day at the hospital, the last person he expected to see was his EX-WIFE. at first he thought he was seeing things and that would’ve been funny, right? scratching at the back of his head, he opened the door a little wider and took a deep breath. “uh, did you want to come in? don’t want you to freeze. meredith isn’t here though- if you’re looking for her.” 

"you better have a DAMN good reason for coming through those doors well after your curfew.” charlotte spun around in her chair and looked at her daughter and took a deep breath, before looking down at her apple watch. “do you have any idea what time it is? your father has been driving around looking for you for the past two hours! did you lose your phone or just forget how it works?” 

"i don’t think it was a mistake-” mark groaned as he leaned against the elevator as he stared across the small space at the brunette. “you know, the kiss.” he had pulled the stop button, only a few seconds ago. it had been DAYS since had been able to get lexie alone in a room, he was starting to think she had been avoiding him after their kiss the other night and mark wanted to get to the bottom of it. “it seems like you’ve been avoiding me lex.”
