They were actually a gift from a friend! I only own the first three volumes. But you can get them from Kinokuniya's English website for about 15 dollars each. They're definitely worth it!

Where can you download the Cardfight manga raws ?
For LQ scans, try twotaileddemon's tumblr account. I've only scanned the raws (from volumes I own) from the first five chapters. (though I don't remember if I uploaded 5 or not. If I haven't, I'll upload it when I finish the english version of chapter 5.
Hey, it seems that Gundamfinal (he has a blogspot blog) is also translating the Cardfight!! Vanguard manga, so why not ask him to team up and you could help each other out? Just a suggestion. :)
Oh, I see! Translating isn't an issue, and I'm not particularly fond of the way he cleans or typesets, haha. So I think it's best to just have us separate.
Good on him for getting ahead, though. At least people will be able to read it! I'm really picky about my cleans/typesets, anyway (that's not what's taking so long for chapters, though!)
Are you still working on the cardfight vanguard manga scans translation? Also, will the mini vanguard be translated too?
Well, kind of. I got really busy with school, and stuff. I'm still working on chapter 5. I also haven't gotten the chance to scan in any other chapters. I haven't stopped, but it's really hard to work on it these days.
As for MiniVan, if I could find decent raws for it I'd gladly work on it, too.

I haven't stopped by in a while. I actually forgot I did this because I was really busy with a lot of other things. Progress on #005-EN has been pretty slow because of that. I don't know when I'll be able to get it done, but hopefully I can start some more work on it when I get the chance!

Two man team. One guy for translations, and another for everything else. That being the scanning of the books to the cleaning of the pages, and the typesetting. I'm lazy and am really specific about what I want/how I want things done, so I'm really paranoid about having people on my team for things like this. I fear people would just tire of my specifics and bitching. ):Â

Well, well. That's volume 1 under our belts. Thanks for reading with us! It might be a bit until we start #005 with volume 2. But I'm glad that we were even able to get this out of the way.
This chapter doesn't really do a whole lot for me, but I'm glad Ito resolved the whole "Morikawa's an asshat thing" that the anime decided to devolve into "GRADE THREES LOL". Uh, yeah. Enjoy!
EDIT: Updated the download link to fix a lot of typos that somehow made it in to the final release. Suppose I need to do a tad more quality control. Specifically, I fixed the placement of "Inenaga, 30 points" from page 9, changed Aichi's "well, reallly" on page 11 to "well, really", and changed Morikawa's lines on page 32 so he doesn't repeat himself and it better reflects the original Japanese.
Unfortunately, the version with all the typos has already be distributed all across scan sites, so there's nothing I can do about that. Just know that you'll only get the best quality releases from me. (:

hey i´m curious about something. Did you upload the chapters to mangafox? Apparently now is available in the site oAo;
I didn't upload them myself, but what I did do is post the releases to baka-manga updates, which is a site where scanlators post what series/chapters they've just released. Big scan sites like Mangafox use that to see when/what to update series, or what new stuff to add.
I don't have a problem with them being spread out so it's all fine. (:
Progress shot on #003-EN. I couldn't help but post it. I especially had fun adding in "hot damn" which, yes, accurately describes the sound effect originally used. Kind of. Either way it's the one of the few occasions I'll actually edit the sound effect in Vanguard. Because it fits so well...

Chapter #002, which is Kamui's intro chapter, is all done! :D From this chapter on, we have a different translator--and he does this quite different from me, but it's still good! Probably better even. Watch out for copious amounts of slang, though.
And no matter what you say, I love how we handled Kamui's "oresama" speaking style. :< Anyhoo! Chapter #002 start!

It's finally here! I've got both the first chapter of Cardfight!! Vanguard scanlated in English, plus the first volume, scanned in Japanese! Enjoy both, please! In the English version, don't hesitate to tell me if there are any mistakes I made. And I apologize again for the contrast between chapter 1 and the rest of the volume, being uncleaned and all. However it is still readable and useable! Cleaning it should remain very easy in an image editing program!
