Something DEFINITELY went down when Jude was undersea that either scared cardan or that forced him into doing what he did and whatever it was I’m sure he thought long and hard about it. I strongly believe what eh did was to protect her and I think part of protecting her has to do with the ring, why would he take it for that long and give it back to her when they married if he knew what he was going to do, the ring is gonna be a big part of qon and how Jude gets back to elfhame I just know it.
