Hanging a little tree in a car that already stinks doesn't fix the smell. It just adds a second one that fades in an hour, then the stink's back. That's masking.

Behind that: they're extremely flammable aerosols, more than half also carry an aspiration hazard, and the vapor can leave you lightheaded in a closed-up garage.

That purple bleed isn't dye. It's your brake dust dissolving.
