We all have hearts and minds, but not all of us can use them to think clearly. Gaza needs you and your humanity and your heart to feel some humanity. Don't forget that Eid al-Adha is approaching, but there isn't one while children are dying every day This isOur children live among the rubble No food or clothes for Eid the children of the world are now enjoying themselves and in safety and security. The picture is more eloquent than any words and the pain of Gaza needs no translation.💔🍉

Also!!! Let's just pretend that this prom takes place years after graduation bc I imagine them to be older. Many ppl didn't have a prom during covid and arranged one years after, so that was kind of my thought process with it.
(Pls tell me you get the reference. Some interviewer thought the lyrics to Ariana Grande's song "Problem" were "I got one last prom production", so I kinda went with it but kept the "without you" bc it fits)

On sunday morning, you woke up early, even though you hadn't been sleeping much. The events of the previous day came back to you one after the other. First, you thought about the game and Sukuna's impressive skills in it.
You recalled the motorcycle ride with him and how he drove you to the Rainbow Bridge just so you could see the city at night. That must've been one of the most thoughtful things anyone has ever done for you. You turned over on your side in your bed, smiling.
And then you remembered how you had almost kissed and how he treated you completely different later at the party than when you were alone. A feeling of embarrassment washed over you once more at the thought that everyone present had noticed Sukuna not wanting to kiss you. Not that you were dying to feel his soft lips, probably salty from all the sweat- no, that wasn't it. Because even if that were the case, it was more the fact of how and why he rejected you that was bothering you.
But asking him was out of the question. After all, you still had enough pride left to not give him that pleasure. After all, he wasn't obliged to kiss you. You shouldn't let anything show, otherwise he might get the wrong idea. And with that mentality, you went to your first lecture on Monday.
After the lecture, you entered the cafeteria. On the menu for today was vegan pasta again, which always tasted delicious but for whatever reason some people did not like at all. You grabbed a plate, had it filled up, and walked over to the where the silverware was. As you were putting down your tray, someone spoke up directly from the side.
"I got your message, by the way."
You weren't startled this time.
"Did you know that people usually greet each other before starting a conversation?" you expressed calmly and Sukuna let out an amused laugh. You always managed to entertain him.
"Sorry, hi princess."
"Hi." you said quietly, a gloomy feeling at the nickname. "What message?"
"Yuji wished me 'good luck' from you."
"So?"
"Well, I certainly was lucky, after all you really came. But..." he didn't finish his sentence, obviously waiting for your reaction. Was he really trying to flirt with you again? This man was difficult.
You took your tray and moved towards one of the tables. Of course Sukuna followed you and sat down in the chair opposite you. You sighed.
"But what, Sukuna? What do you want?" you asked in annoyance.
"You should give me your number. I couldn't even make sure you got home safe on Saturday." he flashed his shiny white teeth at you.
"Why do you care? I went home with my friends." you said, not in a snippy but rather in a neutral tone.
"I know that." he simply returned and didn't seem to have anything else to say. He just looked at you.
Seriously? He doesn't mention what happened at all? Well, if he can act like nothing happened, so can you.
"I don't like being watched while eating." you said bluntly and Sukuna couldn't help but smile.
"Why, are your table manners that terrible?" he countered. You puffed.
"Aren't you hungry?" you then asked, whereupon he told you that he had already eaten.
"I saw you and with you the opportunity."
"The opportunity for what?" you then questioned.
"Asking you for your number."
"You have my address already, that should be enough."
You would not let him get any closer to you.
He chuckled and you ate the first forkful of pasta.
"So you don't want to give it to me?" he carried on.
"Obviously not."
"Okay, I'll find a way. Oh, and enjoy your meal." he winked at you. Then he stood up and left the table.
Finally you could eat in peace.
You didn't see him for the next few days, which gave you enough time to concentrate on your studies. It was thursday evening and you had to give in your assignment for neurolinguistics, the due date was today. You quickly finished explaining how the priming effect works, when suddenly Utahime entered your room with the mail in her hand.
"Oh, are you finished for today already?" you asked, referring to her job, to which she nodded.
"But look at this!" she said, astonished, and waved an envelope in front of your face.
The letter was addressed to you, but it had no sender. Strange.
You opened it and the content was a single sheet of paper with a few lines written on it.
"You're right, your address is enough. If you don't want to give me your number, I'll have to try this way ;)"
Your face immediately heated up, you would have never thought that he'd go out of his way like that. But what was he doing that for? What was his ulterior motive?
Utahime saw your shocked face and read the letter. Then she laughed.
"Wow, he's really trying. Have you eaten yet? Should we order something?"
And together, you ended the evening with a juicy pizza.
But on the next day, you found a note in your locker too. You opened the folded paper and it said:
"Meet me under the bleachers"
Oh God, your heart was pounding. Just what was he thinking?
You decided to meet him at the stands to ask him to stop this whole thing. Even though you were really flattered by the attention, it still hurt your ego that he apparently thought he could win you over like that. Was it working? Maybe a little, but he didn't have to know that. And you definitely wouldn't fall for it any further.
When you finally got there, there was no sign of him. You asked the few players practicing on the field if they had seen him.
"Sukuna? No, he's not here. As far as I know he has a philosophy class right now."
Philosophy? You didn't even know that was his second subject. But that explained why he was around you so often, because philosophy and linguistics were taught in the same building. But why did he send you here then? Nothing he did made any sense and you were slowly getting fed up with this chaos.
You were just on your way back into the building when all of a sudden, you bumped into someone's back on accident. He turned around and to your surprise, it was the menace himself.
"Careful." he laughed lightly. But you were a bit pissed at him in that moment and just walked past him. He walked after you.
"Hey, where are you going?" he yelled.
"I don't feel like playing your games. Find someone else to annoy." you said without even looking at him.
He grabbed your wrist and brought you to a stop. When you tried to escape his grip, he blocked you with his arm and caged you in.
"Calm down. What's going on with you?" Sukuna exclaimed.
"No, what's going on with you? Why do you leave those notes in my locker, arrange a meeting and then not show up?"
"That's what it is about?" He chuckled. "Now, do you see how complicated it is? If I had your number, you would have known when I wrote the message."
You were flabbergasted, was that really his plan behind all this? To show you why it would be of advantage to exchange numbers?
"Or you can just write the time down next time!" you spat out.
"Next time? So you like when I leave you letters?" he smirked and upset you with his presumptuous words.
"Don't twist my words..." you pouted and looked to the side. He let you go now, you had calmed down.
"Then what do you say: We have another game next Friday. If we win, I get your number, if we lose... well, you can choose."
"Why do you want my number so badly?" you probed.
"Because I like you. You're fun to be around."
This confession knocked you off balance, but you swallowed your speechlessness. In the end, two could play that game.
"Okay, if you lose, you'll never ask me for my number again." You smiled mischievously and he followed suit, tilting your chin upwards with his big hand before responding.
"It's settled then."
You stayed at Shoko's for the weekend, since you wanted to binge-watch the new season of your show. Utahime didn't like the show and had to work anyway, so it was just the two of you tonight.
After a few episodes, however, it turned into a deep talk session. You told Shoko everything that had happened with Sukuna so far and she reprimanded you for getting into this 'pact'.
"His team will win either way, the only ones with a chance against them are the UOT." she explained and you thought about her words.
UOT? Of course! They say their quarterback is on par with Sukuna. They are the biggest rivals!
"Are they gonna play against each other too?" you wondered.
"I think not until the very end of the season. That's the most important game after all."
The end of the season... So in about 8 weeks. But wait a minute...
"How do you even know that?" you stared at Shoko in amazement and she looked up at the ceiling.
"A few of my high school friends are on this team. Utahime knows them too."
"What? Why am I only finding out about this now?" you shifted in your seat, grinning at her. She shrugged.
"I never thought it was important. After all, you haven't been interested in football until now."
You nodded. Then your phone rang. You took it from the coffee table and saw that it was Utahime, but before you could even pick up, she already hung up.
"Who was it?" Shoko interrupted and you told her, but you two didn't think much of it.
You thought that maybe she called you on accident, so you sent her a message asking "are you okay?" and checked her location. She was still at the hotel. A few minutes later, she finally replied and confirmed that everything was indeed alright.
"Okay, she just replied. She's fine. But next time we're all together, you two have to tell me more about your mysterious old friends." You waggled your eyebrows and Shoko laughed.
"Yeah, yeah, even if there's not really much to tell."
And then you were back in the stadium, this time, on your campus. It was a home game and the people on the stands were louder than at the last game, but this time, you secured yourselves better seats. You were sitting in the front row!
At the opening, all of the players walked onto the field and turned to the audience. Sukuna waved at the big crowd, his eyes moving from left to right, and eventually rested his gaze on you, a small smirk spreading on his face. And then it was kickoff. As always, Sukuna's leading skills ensured a successful first half. It was clear that the team had been a unit for a long time, as well as they complemented each other.
After the first half, there was the usual break and you used it to go use the bathroom. The line was long though, of course you weren't the only one who had to use it after such a long time. But luckily, it quickly emptied and after you were done, the break was almost over. While the water tingled on your hand, you heard a few girls coming in, chattering. You recognized the cheerleaders, one of them was the blonde girl named Manami.
"So, how are things going with Sukuna now?" asked Manami's friend.
At the mention of that name, you became very wary. You felt like you were eavesdropping, but you couldn't turn off your hearing sense after all.
"I think he likes me." Manami said the words dreamily, but you couldn't listen to their conversation any longer, because if you stayed at the sink for too long, you would attract their attention. You dried your hands and went out the door.
What was their true relationship to each other? She thinks he likes her? What is he doing for her to think that? You had a weird gut feeling on your way back and when your friends noticed, they asked if you were okay. You lied to them and, thank goodness, that feeling disappeared as soon as the second half of the game began.
And as Shoko predicted, your team won. The others weren't bad by any means, but Sukuna isn't feared in the world of football for nothing. He once again secured a great victory and after the game ended, his teammates all ran towards him to celebrate.
They picked him up and carried him to the front of the stands while you and the others clapped for their success. Many shouted his name, others shouted for the other players, but his grinning, smug look was only on you.
His comrades let him down and the crowd slowly started to leave the stands as Sukuna continued to keep you under his spell. He stepped on a bench in front of the stands, leaned his elbow onto the railing and pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket. He pressed it between his fingers proudly and held it in front of his slightly tilted face, a mischievous smile adorning it, so that you could make out the numbers on the note.
You narrowed your eyes in an attempt to see more clearly and as the digits became visible, you recognized them as your phone number.
How did he-
You were about to ask him that, but Aoi intervened, jumping onto the bench and putting his arm over Sukuna's shoulder, happily dragging him into the locker room.
When you finally came down the stairs, you decided to wait for Sukuna outside. Shoko and Utahime were talking about something you didn't pay attention to in the meantime.
Then the door opened and you walked towards Sukuna expectantly, but he was already stopped by Manami in that exact moment. You saw her putting her arm around his and walking to the parking lot with him. That made you abandon the whole plan and go back home with your girls.
When you got there, you received a message from an unknown number.
unknown number: not even curious how I got your number?
That was definitely Sukuna. Your mood immediately worsened. You just couldn't figure him out. You threw your phone onto the bed and made yourself something to eat. Cooking should calm you down, so you put on some music and started chopping. It took half an hour before you got the motivation to text him back.
you: aren't you out with the cheerleader right now?
You sent the message and threw your phone away from you again. Why had you been so direct? You took your phone into your hands again to delete the message, but Sukuna had already replied.
unknown number: oh you're curious about something else I see. u stalking me? ;)
you: no, I just saw you two together after the game. hope you had fun.
unknown number: yea sure had.
you: good for you.
Somehow the message came across as more bitter than you anticipated, and Sukuna also noticed the harsh tone.
unknown number: wait, you weren't seriously thinking I was after you, were you?
you: of course not? I was being genuine.
You were not. He typed.
unknown number: well then, that's good.
And then you left him on read. Asshole.
The whole weekend was spent trying to figure Sukuna out, but as much as you tried, his motives remained unclear to you. You even started listing different possibilities together with Shoko and Utahime, but for every idea there was something in Sukuna's behaviour that didn't add up. You set up three theories:
REASON NUMBER ONE: He really just likes you platonically. But then why did he flirt with you sometimes, why did he almost kiss you, why did he put in such an effort into getting your number?
REASON NUMBER TWO: He was just trying to get into your pants. Maybe he had something going on with this girl, Manami, and he didn't want her to find out. But then why did he never make a move on you like that? Apart from the teasing, he's never been disrespectful or dirty towards you.
And, this was the most unlikely one, but,
REASON NUMBER THREE: He had a serious interest in you. But then, why wouldn't he just be straightforward? Why was this girl all over him at all times? And why didn't he do something against it? Or was he keeping the both of you as mere options?
Whatever it was, it was getting on your nerves. And you decided you wanted to make it clear to him that the two of you should either be friends or nothing.
You were just taking a few things out of your locker when there was a sudden bang next to you. You took the last book out of it and looked at the source.
"Boo." Sukuna called out, pressing his lower arm against the locker. He was wearing a simple white sweater with the sleeves rolled up, but it was so tight that it highlighted his broad, big chest. His hand was clenched into a fist, which meant that you had a perfect view of his flexing muscles as well.
You gulped and tried not to let on how attractive that was to you, because you couldn't afford to seem weak in front of him.
"Wow I'm so scared." you commented and closed your locker.
"I bet you are, now that I've got your number." he claimed. Then you faced him.
"Where did you get it from anyway?" you wondered. You still didn't have a single clue.
He smiled wickedly again.
"Why don't you ask your friend Utahime?"
Safe to say that's not what you had expected coming out of his mouth.
"You're lying." you doubted.
"Why would I do that?" he replied with a foxy grin.
You took a deep breath.
"Alright, I'm gonna ask her later. But can we stop with the constant banter, it's giving me a headache."
"Oh? Why's that?" he came closer, but you pushed him away again.
"It was fun in the beginning, but it's getting annoying now. Let's just be normal friends." you proposed.
"Friends?" Sukuna raised an eyebrow gently, considering your words and quirking a small smile. "You wanna befriend me?" he seemed oddly delighted about that. You didn't know if he was poking fun at you or not.
"Yeah, isn't that what you wanted?" you inquired, dumbfounded by his reaction.
"Yeah. Yeah, of course. Alright, let's be friends then." he stared down at you, a gleam in his eyes that you couldn't make out.
Yes, it would definitely be better to be friends. That way, he wouldn't constantly irritate you with his mixed signals.
And with that, your friendship with the star player began.
RAHHH he's so confusing!!! Wdym you send me LETTERS to contact me?!?!?! And then say you're not after me? ARGHHH
What do you think his intentions are? As always, reblogs and comments are so so appreciated! I wanna hear your thoughts about it so bad! <3

The stadium was loud and full, the spotlights lit up the field while many cheers could be heard, most of them directed at Sukuna. The noise was truly overwhelming, and the crowded stands made it difficult for you latecomers to get a seat. The tension was palpable throughout the field as the players gathered on it and briefly addressed the public. Maroon eyes scanned the faces of the spectators, but were unsuccessful in their attempt to find what they were looking for.
Because you, Utahime and Shoko, were still walking between the people to reach the small space that was left and would have to be enough for you. Of course, you didn't know that your university's star player was looking out for you.
The space was very tight, but the atmosphere was infectious when your team's quarterback, none other than Ryomen Sukuna in his truest form, gained the upper hand in the first quarter with a clever passing touchdown to Yuji, the running back. Sukuna's number was, as expected, the number 9. The majority of the fans present cheered him on, even some students from the other university. That's how popular Sukuna was. His skills were widespread and you slowly began to understand why.
You didn't know much about football, but when the game reached its second quarter and you noticed how confident and secure Sukuna was in his own skin and how the people in the stadium reacted to his playing style, you slowly began to get a broader picture. Of course, the comments on the game were also a great help in understanding it. Aoi, the wide receiver of your offense team, as you learned, had just caught a sharp 25-yard pass from Sukuna and was thus close to the end zone. He runs towards it, the defense of the opposing team trying to stop him, but in vain: Aoi Todo gets into the end zone and scores another touchdown thanks to Sukuna's pass!
The crowd is screaming and the ground feels like it's shaking. The kicker scores an extra point, but before halftime is reached, the opposing team also scores a touchdown plus extra point and a field goal by kicking the ball through the goal. You look at Sukuna on the bench, who is talking to the coach. He's a bit sweaty, but you watch as he keeps an overview and at the same time raises his bottle to his mouth to stay hydrated. He doesn't look like it at first glance, but he's focused on analyzing what's happening. Nevertheless, he seems pretty calm about the situation.
14-10. It's halftime now.
The cheerleaders come out onto the field and entertain the masses. After their performance, 20 minutes have already passed, the teams come back onto the field. The second half begins. While the players run across the field, Sukuna takes the opportunity to search the stands again. And this time he succeeds: the moment his eyes meet yours, a big grin spreads on his face. He raises his head in satisfaction, winks at you as he walks, then puts on his helmet, stops for the kickoff, and is back to concentrating on the game in no time.
You weren't sure if you saw correctly, but this little incident didn't go unnoticed by your friends, who directly took the opportunity to tease you about it, making you unable to suppress a slight smile.
The third quarter is similar, this time your eyes are more focused on Sukuna than on the game itself, as they had just before. Now that you have understood a little bit of what football is about, you can devote yourself to him in detail. And he does not disappoint, he is precise in every step and you could practically feel how engrossed he was in the game. He watches the defense closely and then decides to pass to the tight end, as the commentator calls him.
A man named Choso, you haven't noticed him before, catches the ball and passes it right back to Yuji - a risky move to deceive the opposing defense. If it isn't caught, the team loses the ball. But it works: Yuji catches the ball and runs straight to the end zone! And touchdown!!!
You've already lost sight of Sukuna when the kicker came back on the field and scored another extra point. The offense celebrates as the defense comes back, but in the end the score is 21:17, because the opposing team didn't sit idle either. You once again didn't notice Sukuna staring at you while he sat on the bench, too engulfed in the game yourself.
Fourth quarter - the last one. You watch Sukuna again when he's on the field. His shoulders look broad in his gear, the number 9 already covered in dirt and soil by now. He turned to you, cocking his head into the direction of the end zone in a way that told you to pay attention now. Confused but determined to not lose sight of him this time, you felt as if he was reading your thoughts by making this task easier for you. Because as soon as he has the ball, he runs towards the end zone himself. His fast, athletic performance is outstanding as he gets rid of the other team's defense and scores the crucial touchdown. Without hesitation, he faces the stands and points directly at...you, an overjoyed smile on his face. In that moment, you remembered his words:
"Keep a lookout for number 9, he'll score the winning goal."
And he was right. And how right he was. The crowd screamed and cheered and celebrated like crazy and didn't notice that Sukuna wasn't pointing at them, but at you specifically. And that made it even better, because that way, it was your little secret. Your heart leapt within you at that thought. Nobody knew who Sukuna was really directing his gesture at, except your two clever friends who were elbowing your sides knowingly.
The players rejoiced in their team's success. The atmosphere was phenomenal, you have rarely felt such solidarity. The teams and fans were incredibly respectful to each other and the evening a complete success. You were in the mood to party yourself and it was obvious that Shoko and Utahime next to you were feeling the same. Who would've thought football could be so enjoyable!
You were just on your way to leave the bleachers when Sukuna suddenly stood in front of them and, therefore, in front of you.
"You came." he stated.
"I promised." Sukuna grinned victoriously. You didn't know if it was because of the win in the game or because of the victory that he got you to come.
But before you could exchange any more words, the people behind you pushed through and forced you to keep walking. Sukuna quickly grabbed your arm and pulled you back so that you didn't get away from him. The people seemed to respect him so much that they no longer walked against you, but instead past you.
"There's a party tonight. Are you coming?"
"A party? Where?" But Sukuna just grinned.
"Meet me here in 10."
And with that he let you go and disappeared.
After minutes of waiting - Shoko and Utahime, who you briefly lost in the crowd, of course found you again and stayed with you - Sukuna finally came out of the locker room and headed towards you. He greeted you all and then told you about the frat party that was taking place. Yuji and Aoi also lived in the fraternity, but it was the non-players who planned and organized the party. Since you were playing against a college in your city, luckily it wouldn't take you long to get there.
"So, what are you saying? You coming?" he finally asked.
"We would love to! But we have to know the address since we have to get an uber."
Then the other players came out. Aoi greeted Utahime before he was interrupted by Sukuna.
"Hey, Aoi!" he called. "Can you take the girls with you?" he asked his friend.
"I can but I only have 2 seats left. I'm already taking Yuji and Choso with me."
Sukuna grinned cheekily.
"That's fine," he started and then turned to you, "you're coming with me then."
You tried to object and explained that you could just take an Uber, but neither Sukuna nor Aoi accepted your objection.
Shoko and Utahime took you aside for a moment to make sure you were okay with it and you calmed their worries. You all came to the same conclusion: it would be a good way to save your money after all.
You exchanged your locations with each other - just in case - but before they left, they gave Sukuna a dark look, a look that said "Don't try anything!"
When they got into Aoi's car, you were in the parking lot next to them on Sukuna's motorcycle. He gave you his helmet again. When Sukuna was almost driving off, Utahime spoke again
"Drive carefully," she looked at Sukuna, then turned her gaze to you, "we'll see you there." And so you drove off first, while Aoi was still waiting for Choso.
The streets were largely empty, after all it was almost half past ten at night. The temperature was naturally cooler than before and thus your hands were a little cold. You tried to press them against Sukuna's clothes a little to get some of his warmth, but your attempt didn't go unnoticed by him.
"You okay back there?" he asked you sincerely.
"Yes, it's just...my hands are a little cold. I'm sorry."
He just laughed.
"What are you sorry for?"
He briefly took your hand in his - just the touch made you feel a little warmer - and placed it in the pocket of his jacket.
When he unbalanced your hold on him with this action, you were briefly afraid of falling, but Sukuna's grip was strong enough to prevent you from it.
"Whoops, don't fall for me yet." was what he said, poking fun at the little gasp that left you.
"Yours are just as cold!" you responded then, while he did the same with your other hand.
He laughed again.
"Are they? I guess I'm used to it already. Keep them here until we're there." he patted over his pockets before putting his hand back on the steering wheel.
"Is that really okay for you?" you questioned then, a blush decorating your face.
"No, put them out again." he joked and you wanted to slap him for that.
"Of course it is, I'd never complain about your hands on me." he smiled to himself.
"I wish you could see me rolling my eyes right now."
"I can imagine it pretty well." he replied, sneering at your comment. "But I mean it, keep them in there, I'll be your personal heater."
This statement made your heart beat faster again and you became quieter, your voice barely audible.
"Thank you..."
"Anytime, princess."
Then there was a brief silence.
"You don't often go out at night, do you?" That question startled you a little.
"Uh, no, not really. I mean, with friends, sometimes. It's not always safe as a woman though."
That saddened Sukuna. He knew the dangers of society, especially for women, but he couldn't imagine not being able to go out at night to clear his head. He thought about it and then came up with a specific question.
"So you've never seen the Rainbow Bridge at night?"
"Only from a distance. After all, it's far from home."
"I see. That's all I need to know." And with that, he turned right at the next traffic light, in the completely opposite direction to where you actually had to go. His words confused you, but of course you didn't know anything about his plan, you were completely clueless when it came to orientation in this big city.
About fifteen minutes later, you spotted the large, brightly lit Rainbow Bridge right in front of you. It didn't take long and you were driving over the colorful giant, fast and almost alone on it.
You couldn't believe your eyes, you just stared up at the huge bridge and the shining city behind it. A feeling of freedom came over you and in the middle of the bridge, Sukuna stopped and got off.
"Come on, you have to see the view from here." With these words, he offered you his hand and helped you to get off too. Then he led you to the edge of the bridge and left you to enjoy the breathtaking view.
From there you could see almost the entire city, see the many glowing skyscrapers, in which people were living or working. And the water beneath you reflected these lights and shone almost golden.
You were amazed, a gentle "Wow" slipping from your lips and you turned to Sukuna, whose smiling gaze was already on you.
"It's beautiful, really. But don't we have to get going?"
"We took the wrong way anyway, so take the time to enjoy it."
"Did we really?"
"You didn't notice?" he laughed and came closer to you.
"If you want, we can stay here." he suggested, which truly surprised you.
"And miss the party in your honor? Where has the arrogant Sukuna gone, isn't football your passion?" you teased.
"I have other passions too, you know." he said in all seriousness as he came a little closer to you again, his gaze now fixed on your lips.
Then he parted his slightly and your heart sank when his head moved forward. The tension between you was so intense that it could only be evaporated by the collision of your mouths, but before your lips could even meet, your phone rang. You immediately pulled away from each other, an awkward mood hanging over you. You answered. It was Shoko.
"Yo, are you okay? Where are you, we just arrived."
And after you told her about your little trip, Utahime was almost bursting with worry next to her, you finally drove to the party.
When you got there, your friends ran up to you and scolded you.
"Do you know how worried I was when I saw your location in the middle of nowhere???" Utahime screamed.
"I'm sorry, I really am-" you wanted to continue, but Sukuna interrupted you.
"It's not her fault, I was the driver." he voiced and Utahime looked at him disapprovingly.
"You didn't try something funny with her, did you? Did he?" She turned to you then.
"No, really, everything is fine. More than fine."
And when they saw you smiling like that, they knew everything was alright. Sukuna excused himself and ran into the scene, you could hear all kinds of people shouting for him and asking where he's been.
It had been over an hour since you left and in that one hour Sukuna managed to confuse you severely and utterly. What would have happened if Shoko hadn't called? Would you have really kissed? Or was that not his intention? Was it yours?
Whatever it was, you had to nip it in the bud with alcohol. No way you were catching feelings for the all too well known heartbreaker. You and the girls made your way to the kitchen, where you then mixed yourselves some drinks.
After this drink and another, you were on the best way to get drunk and so you stormed into the large hall. The music was loud and you didn't know most of the people here, but none of that bothered you in your drunken state.
You started dancing and from a distance you saw a girl next to Sukuna. You recognized her, it was one of the cheerleaders who had performed today. She was still wearing her cheerleader outfit and was obviously making eyes at Sukuna. You watched as other girls around looked at them in jealousy because they probably wanted to be in her place. Then you saw him smile at that girl and that fact was enough to wake you up again.
Sometimes you forget what a reputation Sukuna has and how popular he actually is. But every time there is something that reminds you that you would be better off avoiding him. In moments like that you felt like he was a stranger to you, which he technically was, even though he was so approachable just an hour ago.
But before you could watch any further, a black-haired guy came up to you and asked you for your name. He introduced himself as Tadashi and was one of the guys who lived here. You talked for a while and every now and then you looked over at Sukuna, but he never seemed to look back. He was still talking to the pretty blonde and you wondered if they were often seen together.
It was probably the alcohol that gave you the courage you needed to ask Tadashi about it. After all, he lived under the same roof as the football players.
"Hey, is that Sukuna's girlfriend over there?" you asked, pretending to be oblivious. You knew he didn't have a girlfriend - not for more than one night at least.
"Hm? Oh, no. Sukuna doesn't really date, I think. But I don't know him very well." he replied and you were stunned.
"Don't you live together?"
"No, Sukuna lives alone. Only his cousins Yuji and Choso live here."
His cousins?
You thought, but apparently you were thinking out loud, because Tadashi enlightened you.
"Yes, can't you see that? I think Yuji looks a lot like him."
That was true, after all, you almost confused the two once.
"Why does he live alone?" you asked, but before you could continue the conversation, someone from the next room shouted through the whole house.
"HEY, WHO WANTS TO PLAY SPIN THE BOTTLE?" Aoi yelled and caught Sukuna's attention, who then noticed you and Tadashi.
But you looked at Shoko and Utahime, who nodded at you in agreement, and so you followed Aoi's call and entered the smaller room in which a few students were already gathered. Yuji was also there, talking to a boy with spiky dark hair.
You sat down in the circle, Tadashi sat down next to you and several people joined you. Finally, Sukuna appeared, the cheerleader in tow. His gaze was on you and he sat down opposite to you, his eyes swaying back and forth between you and Tadashi. You didn't know why, but suddenly you felt uncomfortable in this situation.
You played a few rounds and mostly it was questions, sometimes kisses that were exchanged. When the bottle pointed at you, you quickly answered the question that had been asked beforehand: What's your type?
"I don't really have one." It was as simple as that and Sukuna's as well as Tadashi's curious looks went unnoticed by you. Then it was Utahime's turn. Whoever the bottle stopped on, she had to kiss. She turned the bottle and it almost pointed at herself, but one last sway to the right and it clearly pointed at Shoko. The two kissed briefly and then it was Shoko's turn.
She asked - the bottle stopped on the cheerleader, who turned out as Manami - the same question that was also directed at you.
Her answer? Someone with pink hair. It was clear who she meant.
Nevertheless, Yuji called out, as funny as ever: "So...me?" he asked, half confused, half joking, and you all broke out into laughter.
But her words still sounded bitter in your ears and you missed the rounds until it was finally Sukuna's turn. He was supposed to kiss the person the bottle was pointing at and you couldn't help but feel nervous as the bottle turned and turned and finally...came to rest on you. Of course. Who else.
Sukuna looked at you in shock and then declared his words.
"I'll pass."
Everyone was bewildered.
"Then you have to drink!" Aoi then broke the silence and Sukuna just replied with a "whatever" and took a few sips of his drink. After that it was Aoi's turn, but you weren't paying any attention, still dumbfounded by Sukuna's reaction to you. Why didn't he want to kiss you? He almost did it earlier after all...
You just couldn't understand it and to be honest, it was embarrassing to be rejected like that in front of everyone. So when it was your turn to kiss Tadashi, you did it without hesitation. After the kiss, you briefly glanced at Sukuna, who then stood up and left the room. You just couldn't figure out what was going on inside him. Maybe it was the alcohol, but right now everything felt heavier than before.
After a short while, you also stood up and went into the kitchen to refill your empty cup. Just as you were pouring the Sprite into it, someone entered the kitchen.
"Didn't you have enough?" a voice called out from behind you. Unsurprisingly, it was Sukuna.
"Didn't you have enough?" you replied cheekily.
"I didn't drink. I don't drink during the season." he retorted, but that wasn't what you meant.
"I mean of me. That seemed to be the case a moment ago, so why are you interfering my matters again?"
He chortled.
"What, mad I didn't kiss you?" he teased, but you weren't in the mood for it.
"Yeah, totally." you let out an exasperated sigh. "If you'd excuse m-"
But Sukuna stopped you in your tracks.
"I'm going to take you home. It's late already." he stated and you tried to stay as calm and nice as possible so as not to give him the satisfaction of getting to you.
"No thanks, I'm going home with my friends later. Go take someone else if you're bored."
And with that, you made your way back to Utahime and Shoko and continued playing for a while before you finally made your way back home.
When you got there, you were slowly sobering up. It felt like your life had been turned upside down. You couldn't believe how much could happen in a single night.
Wrote all of that today hehe. I literally have NO idea about football, I've been researching and I HOPEEE what I've written makes any sense. BUTTT apart from that I think that's my fav chapter so far :>
Pls let me know what you think, comments and reblogs are sooo appreciated!!!

With a small gift bag in your hand you're currently on your way to the football field. You figured it would only be fair to thank Sukuna for his help last thursday. All of your classes were over for the day and after your talk with Utahime - you had a lot of explaining to do after all - you found out that the team had training at this exact period.
Because Utahime is a senior tutoring juniors occasionally - as she had the best score in the mathematics exam last year - she knows about their schedule through a guy named Aoi Todo, who is also in the football team and simultaneously one of those juniors she tutors. You don't know how she keeps up with her own studies, considering she has that minijob at the hotel AND is a tutor on top of that. But she had always been a very determined woman and luckily, she only tutors every few weeks.
When you arrived, the team was just getting ready to start. You looked around the area to find that distinct pink haired guy you were here for and when you thought you had found him, he turned around and didn't have those typical tattoos on his face. You were utterly confused to say the least, when all of a sudden, you heard a deep voice behind you.
"Looking for me in your free time?"
You turned around and Sukuna gave you a smug look.
"Actually, yeah." you admitted and his face turned into a stunned one. He didn't expect you to be so blunt about it.
"I just came to give you that." you added and reached him the small bag.
"What's that?" he asked, mustering it before reluctantly taking it into his hands.
"Just a small thank you for last time." you crossed your arms behind your back and looked up at him, a genuine smile adorning your face. At that sight, he gulped. He examined the gift closely, slowly removing its content. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the chocolate in form of a football, his mind going blank.
"You got this for me?" he quizzed, taken aback by the kind gesture. You couldn't help but chuckle, a small bluff following.
"No, I actually got it for the other pink haired boy over there." And with that, you turned around and pointed to the man you had mistaken for Sukuna a few moments ago.
"'The other pink haired boy?'" he repeated with an amused grin. "Don't tell me you don't know him."
You shook your head.
"I don't. Why would I?" you doubted to which he responded in disbelief.
"Because he's one of the best players of our team?"
"I don't really concern myself with football or who plays it." you confided to him, causing Sukuna to drop his jaw in a state of shock before closing his mouth again in a moment of realization.
"You knew who I was though." he then stated.
"Yes, because you're a well-known womanizer." you rolled your eyes. He just laughed.
"If I am, then why aren't you all over me?"
"I'm resistant to boys like you." you shrugged your shoulders.
"Really? How are 'boys like me'?"
"Let me think." you pretended to be serious, getting into the thinker pose. "Arrogant, insufferable, boring, nasty..." he nodded at every word, occasionally raising his brows amusedly but letting you speak. Sukuna couldn't hide his entertainment, you were truly something else.
"You think so?" He came closer. "Then why did you give me the chocolate? You sure you're not crazy about me, sweet thing?" he smirked and that startled you for a moment, but you composed yourself again.
"Don't flatter yourself. You know it's not like that."
"A man can dream." he sighed and held up his hands in retreat, eyes closed. Once again, you felt your face heating up, when suddenly some of the players on the field headed your way.
"Yo, Sukuna! Hurry up, before you're late again!" someone screamed while coming up to the two of you.
"What do you mean again? I'm never late for training!" Sukuna hissed at him. Then the guy was already next to you, though on the other side of the fence.
"And what happened on thursday?" he asked him to which Sukuna kept silent. Your mind went to work, catching onto his words.
"What happened on thursday?" was your next question, curious because on that day, Sukuna helped you out.
Then another guy followed after the first, answering your question. It was the one that looked so similar to Sukuna.
"He was one hour late to our meeting, delaying the bus drive and our whole timetable for the game and all!" The kind looking boy unfolded and now that he was closer to you, he looked like a boyish version of Sukuna, who was rather mature in contrast. His words left you speechless though, Sukuna prioritized your safety over football? You couldn't believe your ears.
"Yeah yeah yeah, and now I'm never hearing the end of it." Sukuna complained while the others laughed at him.
"Deserved." The black haired one said.
Then Sukuna took the opportunity to introduce you to each other, exposing the one with the black hair as Todo and the other one as Yuji. The two seemed to be extremely surprised at Sukuna's action for whatever reason, stammering sceptically while greeting you.
But that was not what caught you off guard, it was the way your name rolled off Sukuna's tongue. Now that you heard it slipping from his lips, you noticed you don't reckon telling him your name, so how did he know? You instantly glanced at him and when you did, he already met your gaze, a knowing smirk on his face.
"Anyways, hurry now or we're starting without you!" the two boys exclaimed to which he responded with a simple "I'm coming, dammit!", walking after them while all three of them grinned.
And with that, the athletes said their goodbyes. You returned, leaving slowly but surely. Sukuna, though, halted for a split second, calling out your name once more. He was definitely doing this on purpose.
"Hey! We're not done with that conversation!" he shouted and you inwardly agreed, wanting to confront him about his suspicious knowledge.
"Is that a threat?" you screamed back and he beamed at you.
"It's a promise!"
And then he turned around, running after his teammates. You couldn't help but start growing a wide smile yourself.
In the distance, you could see them teasing Sukuna about something, but you couldn't catch their voices.
It was the next day and you were sitting in your linguistics class that was about to start in a few minutes, busy reading through the endless pages of the text you were supposed to read at home. Thankfully, your lecturer was not there yet, but you still cursed yourself for not starting earlier, positive that you wouldn't finish reading it in time.
Focused on skimming through the text, you jumped when suddenly someone plumped down in the chair right next to you. It couldn't be your friend who typically sat there, because she was sick this week. Of course, it was Sukuna.
"Can you stop doing that?" you hissed, still recovering from the shock.
"Where would be the fun in that?" his pearly whites flashed you.
"Why are you even here? Mixed up the classes?"
"Nah, but we have unfinished business."
"So you thought this was the right place and time for that?" you remarked sarcastically, but he replied with a careless "Yeah."
Shaking your head, you took a quick look at the time before taking the opportunity to confront him.
"Why didn't you tell me you had to be somewhere else on thursday? I would have been fine. I hope you didn't get into trouble..."
Finally talking about what left you nosy after yesterday's events, you wondered if he didn't have any classes himself. But that shouldn't bother you. You've had a hard time doing your homework and falling asleep the previous night due to Sukuna's selfless act, unable to stop your mind from wandering to said topic. You truly wouldn't have expected that from him.
"You know my reasons already, it was my decision. It was nothing your little gift couldn't have fixed." he flirted and you puffed. "I texted them I had to take care of something first and in the end, we still won. None of them were actually mad at me, so don't worry about it." he assured you and that soothed you a little.
"Next time, I'm declining your offer." you informed him.
"Next time, I'll make sure you're at the game then. Can't keep me from the game when you're at it." he smirked and you sighed. He was so annoying.
"I already told you I'm not into football."
"Yeah, about that...that has to change. Can't let you walk around not knowing who the heroes of our campus are." he exaggerated.
"Speaking of which, how do you know my name?" you finally had the chance to ask him that.
"Wouldn't you like to know? Maybe I should leave it to you to figure it out, like you did to me." he suggested, referring to you lying about sharing a class with him when you first met. The puzzled look on your face was enough for him to break out in laughter.
"But I'm not cruel like that. I know Utahime from Todo, I just didn't know she had a roommate. So when I asked him about it, he remembered your name from some of her stories. He didn't know who you were though."
So you both used the same method, the same opportunity to find out about each other? What are the chances?!
"You know Utahime?" Those were news to you. She would have told you if that was the case, you were sure of that.
He shook his head.
"Not in person, I just know she tutors Todo."
"You're unbelievable." you were shocked that he actually put effort into getting to know you.
Everything you've learned about Sukuna these past few weeks truly surprised you. You thought he was just this big asshole that only cared about himself and had a shallow personality, but the more you got to know him, the more you realized you actually felt somewhat comfortable in his presence. Not that you would tell him that, of course.
"I know." he winked. "So, what do you say? You coming to my next game this weekend?"
"Didn't you have a game last weekend already?" And in that moment, your professor barged in.
Shit! You haven't finished reading the text yet!
"Oh you have a lot of learning to do. We have one every week of the season."
Before Sukuna could carry on his lecture on football, you tried convincing him to give you this lesson another time, internally stressed about your still due obligation of reading the text. But he was stubborn, not willing to comply until you pledged to come to his game this saturday.
The loud discussion in the otherwise so quiet room had ultimately drawn the attention of your lecturer, who quickly noticed that Sukuna didn't belong in this class.
"Mr. Sukuna, aren't you in the wrong place?" the professor voiced.
Sukuna apologized, claiming he only needed a minute before turning back to you again, everyone's eyes on the scene in front of them now. The lecturer was taken aback by Sukuna's boldness, but seeing as the period hasn't even started, he let it slide.
"Please, go already!" you pleaded whisperingly, shoving him a little but he didn't back down just yet. Thankfully, both the professor and the students started preparing for class, the noise slightly concealing your conversation and taking the focus from you.
"I'm not leaving until you promise me to come."
He pushed and you gave in, not daring to face the consequences if you didn't, and especially not wanting to make this situation even worse let alone hold up the whole class.
"Okay, okay! I'm coming! Now go!" And Sukuna grinned.
"That's what I wanted to hear, princess." he moved closer towards you, his lips right next to your ear. "Keep a lookout for number 9, he'll score the winning goal." he whispered in a low voice and finally stood up, excusing himself.
You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and noticed some girls shooting daggers at you. You almost forgot how popular Sukuna was and that made the whole scenario all the more embarrassing for you. It was in that moment that you realized what it meant to be around the campus heartthrob Ryomen Sukuna.
Home. Finally home!!!
You thought the day would never come to an end when during all of your classes, Sukuna occupied your every thought. You didn't know what to feel, you knew he was this big ladykiller who you'd never involve yourself with usually, though at the same time, he was caring and attentive and easy to talk to.
You discarded your bag into the corner of your room and freshened up a little. Shoko would come over soon and together with Utahime, the three of you would have a long due girls night again. Movies and gossip with your two best friends - what could be better.
All of you were sitting in Utahime's room now, you didn't have a living room because your apartment consisted of only two rooms plus a bathroom and a kitchen. You weren't complaining though, you were already lucky enough to have two separate rooms, many dorm members had to share one.
Shoko was even luckier and lived alone. You always switched between meeting at Shoko's place and yours. Although Shoko didn't have a big apartment. Her bedroom was kind of small, so she visited you more often than you visited her.
You were in the middle of telling them the tea and they already tried to persuade you into thinking that Sukuna was interested in you. You just rolled your eyes.
"It's NOT like that! Trust me!" you insisted, but they didn't sound convinced.
"He invited you to his game?" Shoko promted.
"And didn't back off until you said yes?" Utahime's mouth fell wide open.
"I don't know, this all sounds pretty much like it is to me." Shoko was certain.
"I'm not sure, he's really nice and to be honest, different from what I thought." you admitted.
"Just be careful. His reputation speaks for itself. Don't let him fool you." Utahime then added.
"Don't worry, I won't." you sighed.
"Maybe he's just the type of guy who gets off on your 'unreachable' demeanor." Shoko wondered, tapping her chin with her finger. Your face cringed at the thought.
"Even if, it's not like I don't know better than to be cautious. I'm not playing into his game and I'm definitely not going to be one of his conquests. I could never see myself being involved with him like that." you declared confidently.
It was true, you wouldn't fall for his advances, you weren't naive. Maybe you've doubted it for a split second, but you always knew what his goals probably were. And you were thankful for your girls for reminding you.
"It's for the best, really. He is really attractive, but his reputation is just not it. If he ever makes a serious move on you, please run." Utahime concluded, disguising her sincerity with laughter. You could read her like a book however and knew she just deeply cared about you.
"I can't go alone to the game though. Are you free on saturday by chance and would join me?"
"What type of question is that, it was crystal clear from the beginning that we would come with you! Excuse me?" Utahime announced, seemingly offended and you all broke out into laughter.
Oh, how you loved your friends.
A few days before the game you walked to one of your classes again. This time, you were prepared. You had read the text at home and the phenomenon 'Ryomen Sukuna' didn't distract you from it. You were on your way into the building when you saw a big bus in the parking lot in front of it. It was unmistakably for the football players, you saw Sukuna and his team in the distance. Suddenly, someone bumped into you.
"Oh shit, sorry! Hey, I know you!" It was Yuji.
"Oh, hi! Are you on your way to the bus?" you asked him.
"Yeah! We have an away game again this week!"
"Oh yeah, I know, I'll be there! Good luck!"
"Oh you will? That's nice! I hope you'll enjoy our game then!"
"Thank you! By the way, I'm sorry for interrupting your training last time. I could see you and your friend were quite irritated." you scratched your head in agitation. Yuji seemed confused.
"Hm? Oh! No, sorry if we left that impression! It wasn't you, it's just that Sukuna never really introduced a girl to us before! That was strange!"
What?
His words shocked you. You wanted to know what he meant by that, after all, Sukuna had something going on with a lot of girls already. But before you could consult him, he already set off.
"Oh shit, I have to hurry up, they're already getting inside the bus!" he stressed.
"Oh, yes of course! Uhm, please tell Sukuna good luck from me. A-and the rest of the team too of course!" you passed the message on to him.
"Will do!" he flashed you a smile and ran off. He was so fast that it didn't take him long to reach the bus.
In the background, you could see Sukuna looking at you through the window. He was already in the bus, his chin in his hands when he waved at you. You waved back.
Great, you thought, you successfully failed at keeping Sukuna from your thoughts.
Here's part 3!!! Wasn't content with it for a while, and I've been busy. But now I like it! Omg omg so excited for all the ideas I still have for this story. Next part will be about the first game we're at! Sukuna in action (WOHOOO)! Let me know what you think! <3

The next week, you didn't hear anything from Sukuna. You thought that he maybe lost interest in you, but you should find out just how wrong you were soon enough.
You were sitting in class - it was thursday - and the lecture has not started yet when your former jerk of a group partner took the seat beside you. Great, you thought.
"Hey." he greeted and you responded back. Then it was silent. Eugh, how awkward.
The door was still open when a certain someone walked past it. Of course, you immediately caught his eyes. He stopped walking and smiled mischievously, when suddenly, he saw the guy next to you, his attention now on your conversation. Sukuna quickly realized that this was the boy you were fleeing from when you two first met.
"You know, it was very rude of you to leave me hanging in that restaurant..." Sukuna heard the guy saying.
"Do you know how embarrassing that was?"
He kept eavesdropping, his brows furrowing with every word.
"I can imagine, I would be embarrassed too." were your only words. Sukuna suppressed a chuckle. He really liked your attitude.
"That's it? You don't even want to apologize?"
"What for?" you asked and met his gaze, indifference in your eyes as the guy went furious.
But before he could speak any further, his aggressive body language was enough for Sukuna to intervene. He came up to you and positioned himself behind the chair of your classmate, roughly pushing it back.
"Hey, idiot. Fuck off, will you?" he expressed loudly, cocking his head up in an order to leave. You looked up in surprise, confusion on your face, because why was Sukuna here?
Your classmate was ready to fight whoever it was behind him, but when he saw that it was Sukuna, he quickly dropped that plan and retreated without hesitation. Bewilderement decorated your face as Sukuna sat down on the now empty seat, staring daggers at the guy before turning back to you.
"What are you doing here?" you then asked, still completely dumbfounded by the current situation.
"What? No thanks?" Sukuna smirked, his whole demeanor changing whereupon you raised your eyebrows in annoyance. He continued.
"I've witnessed your little talk by chance and figured I should rescue you from that douchebag."
"I could have handled it myself. I don't need a savior." you shook your head.
Sukuna huffed in amusement.
"Oh, believe me, I know that. But why should you worry your pretty little head when this fucker doesn't respect your boundaries anyways?"
You stared back at him.
"It is my duty as a man to hold other men accountable when they step out of line. I can't just turn a blind eye to it, you know. It can get dangerous real quick."
You furrowed your brows at his words, unsure if he was being sincere or if that was just his trick to get women to like him.
"What? Don't believe me?" he questioned at your dubious look.
"I don't know yet." you declared, studying him closely.
"Whoa, I feel like I'm being examined. I should warn you, I'm into that." At that last statement, he smirked again.
"You're into being looked down on?" you laughed quietly, not wanting to cause too much noise as the room was still quite silent.
"As long as it's you who's looking down on me." he murmured and you just watched him, eyeing him up and down.
Then he came closer to you, only inches away from your face now. His mouth opened slightly and his eyes stopped at your lips, staying there for a while before looking back up and narrowing them.
"Careful inspector, if I didn't know it better, I'd think you want to seduce me."
The smirk on his face widened and you groaned in disgust, waving your hands in withdrawal.
"Okay okay, you can go now." And your voice changed to a faked tone of gratitude. " 'I'm safe again thanks to you.' "
He snickered at your sarcasm and got up when he saw your professor entering the classroom, bidding you goodbye.
"See you soon, sweetheart."
And your heart missed a beat.
After your class ended, the universe found it necessary to send Sukuna your way again - or more like - send you his way. One time a day wasn't enough apparently, because as you walked down the floor, who stood there in front of the lockers was no other than the popular boy himself. He was surrounded by a lot of people, a few of them were probably his football teammates, as you distinctively heard them talking about defensive strategies.
When you walked past the group, Sukuna immediately recognized your silhouette and followed your figure with his eyes. It didn't take long before he excused himself, quickly running after you. Just as you exited the building, he stopped you in your tracks.
"Hey, are you off now? It's getting pretty late, need a ride home?" he offered, holding the door open for you.
"Hey," you greeted him, walking through the entryway in perplexion, "no thanks, I'm good." Although you were curious, did he have a car?
"Come on, do me the favor." he insisted and you exhaled.
"Do you think you're entitled to a favor now for playing the hero earlier? If that's the case, then-" but he interrupted you.
"No, you owe me nothing. I just want to make sure you get home safe and aren't walking home alone in the dark."
"Wow, I have to admit, you're really good at this whole player thing." you mocked him.
"You think I'm playing with you?" he laughed and then opened his mouth to say something else.
"So, is it working then?" he joked, voice deepening in an instant before you hit his arm playfully.
"Just kidding, just kidding!" he held up his hands in retreat.
"I'm not playing, though. I mean it." he confessed after.
"Well, I don't really know you and I don't get into strangers' cars."
"Strangers'? Ouch." he pressed his hand against his chest in feigned offence.
"Good thing I don't have a car then, though." he smiled coyly which left you confused.
"Didn't you just ask if I needed a ride?" you repeated his words and he swiftly cleared up the small misunderstanding.
"I was talking about my bike." he then grinned, pointing to the spot behind him, where the motorcycle was standing.
"A bike?" you sounded surprised.
"Yeah? Ever been on one?" you shook your head at his question while he got his bike ready. But, admittedly, you had always wanted to experience what it was like to ride one. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to accept his offer.
"What? You've never been on a bike? Well, then it's your lucky day today. Hop on." he said, but you were still indecisive.
"And let you know where I live? What if I don't want you to?" you smiled, irony obvious in your voice. But Sukuna played along.
"Your tone alone tells me you live in a dorm. Am I right?" Your smile simply grew and that was all the confirmation he needed.
"Knew it." he muttered.
"So you were speculating about me?" you instantly reciprocated.
"Always." he grinned and handed you over the helmet.
"Here, take mine. I only have one."
"What, and let you drive without one? No, I'll pass then."
"Calm down pretty girl, it's not the first time I'm doing this." Pretty girl. Why did that name fluster you?
"You mean taking a girl with you?" you teased. He just flicked your forehead.
"No, silly. Driving without a helmet. So don't worry about it."
"Oh, so you're allowed to worry about my safety but I can't worry about yours?"
"Exactly." he gave you a teethy grin and your tummy fluttered in response. You weren't blind - he was incredibly handsome. There was a reason he was so popular after all, but up until now, you've never really noticed it, always somewhere else with your thoughts. Your two worlds were fairly separated before, so you didn't bother dealing with him.
"You're cute. Now come on, before we spend the whole evening here. I'll drive extra careful for you, promised." he assured you, half serious half joking.
A pout spread on your face and you were still hesitant, but Sukuna managed to convince you eventually.
When you sat down, he told you to hold on tight. Not knowing where to put your hands though, you decided to place them on his shoulders, shyly.
"What are you doing?" he asked next and turned around, a puzzled look on his face.
"Uhm, you told me to hold on tight..." Did he want you to hold onto the bike instead?
You immediately drew your hands back in embarrassment, however, Sukuna was quick to grab them with his.
"You're supposed to cling to me. That way you'll just bring me out of balance and risk falling. Here, put your arms around my waist."
That's what he said, but he did the job himself, dragging your arms around his strong built. You could practically feel the muscles behind the fabric, it was undeniable that he hid a sixpack underneath it. Your heart started racing and you hoped and prayed he didn't feel it pounding on his back.
The drive only lasted for about 10 minutes, your dorm was near the college after all, and here and there Sukuna popped a question, asking if you were okay or if you enjoyed the ride.
It was nice of him to keep the conversation going, even though it was difficult to hear him at times due to the strong wind. When Sukuna tried addressing you once more and only a "huh?" escaped your lips, he laughed whole-heartedly, the contagious sound making you break out in laughter too. In that moment, you felt so free and careless, and you were so grateful Sukuna took you with him.
Sukuna stopped in front of the dorm complex and turned off the engine. He looked up at the building and started speaking.
"So, a dorm girl, huh? You sharing a room with someone?"
"Not a room, but the apartment. We have two bedrooms." you answered and he hummed.
When you walked up to the front door, Sukuna waited on his bike a few meters away, wanting to see you get inside. You searched for your keys, but as much as you were rummaging through your bag, you just couldn't find them.
"What's wrong?" Sukuna yelled.
"I can't find my keys." you admitted, panicking before remembering you left without them this morning.
"Can't you ring the bell?" He asked and you explained to him that your roommate Utahime was still working.
Making his way up to you, he pulled out his phone, apparently sending some messages. He seemed distracted for a split second before he tucked the device back into the pocket of his pants.
"Where does she work? I will drive you there."
"No. No, you really did enough for me already, I'll just walk there. But thank you, for everything." you tried brushing him off to not be any more of a nuisance, but he wasn't having it.
"I wasn't asking, I'm definitely taking you there." he commanded and his casualness about it had an effect on you. It was so attractive, the way he was chauffeuring you around the city on the single mission to make you get the keys for your apartment.
Arriving at her workplace, Utahime went speechless when seeing you come in with Sukuna. While he was busy with the soda machine, you explained her the situation and she gave you her keys under the condition that you let her in later. She obviously couldn't outwardly ask you about him in his presence, so you two communicated via facial expressions. Utahime tilted her head into Sukuna's direction, a flabbergasted look on her. You tried your best to let her know you'd clear everything up later when he already neared the two of you, the prominent silence seemingly suspicious. He seemed to notice the weird atmosphere.
"You guys good?" Sukuna broke the silence.
"Of course! Everything's perfect!" Utahime exaggerated and you pressed your eyes together in humiliation, facepalming inwardly. Sukuna mustered her strangely, taken aback by her overreaction as well. After that, he turned to you.
"Here for you. Saw this drink on your table earlier, you must be thirsty." he reached you the drink he bought and both Utahime's and your mouth fell wide open at this action.
"T-thank you." you stuttered a little and Utahime let out a small laugh she failed to suppress. You sipped on the bottle of strawberry-vanilla soda and then stored it in your bag. Sukuna simply drank water.
Leaving the lobby, Utahime was the receptionist in a 3-star hotel, Sukuna and you walked back to his vehicle. On your way, he mentioned the weird ambience inside.
"Your friend is a little odd, isn't she?" he pronounced and you chuckled, nodding your head slightly.
"A little, yeah." you agreed, "but she's the best."
Sukuna looked at you with a soft smile, but you didn't see it.
As you sat down on the bike and Sukuna got the helmet out of its case, you've come to a realization.
"Can I ask you something?" you uttered.
"Spit it out." he permitted.
"How did you know I don't have a car myself?"
His lips twitched upwards.
"I've never seen you in the parking lot. But I've seen you walking around plenty. I put two plus two together." He's so attentive.
"Someone's been looking out for me." you beamed.
"Guilty." he smirked and slipped the helmet over your head, locking the straps. You looked up at him with big eyes as he glanced back at you, his half-lidded eyes observing what's left of your face. The tension was palpable to the both of you but before it could get too awkward, he already shoved down the helmet visor to escape your eyes.
The ride back was silent, but he still watched you walking through that door before leaving.
Soo here's part 2 hehe! Had to make Sukuna a lil' feminist because he's supposed to have a functioning brain <3. Hope y'all enjoy!

Final part of ex-bodyguard!Toji...☁️ (-> Pt. 1) (-> Pt. 2) (-> masterlist)
ex-bodyguard!Toji who really wanted to leave you alone, but when he stood in front of you, your gaze meeting his, he couldn't believe his eyes. Because what lingered in your eyes, beyond the still present anger, was longing. Your whole body language told him to stay away from you, but that look of yours, full of passion, full of temptation, made him hope again.
ex-bodyguard!Toji who simply knew you too well. They say eyes are the gate to one's soul, and that was true, because yours bored right through his, lured him in like a man bewitched. And as much as you tried to hide it, he saw right through you. But he knew you were still too hurt at the moment, which is why he let it be. For now.
ex-bodyguard!Toji who found out you rejected that guy. And he knew then and there that it wasn't over, that he couldn't let go. He decided in that moment that he would fight for you.
ex-bodyguard!Toji who was hopelessly devoted to you again. He almost gave up on you - almost, because how was he supposed to live without you now that he's got a taste of heaven?
ex-bodyguard!Toji who sent flowers to your job, to your house, even left gifts at your doorstep - always with a little card attached to them, apologizing and begging. He was going to win you back at all costs. And it worked, because slowly, you let your walls fall, let your coldness towards him warm up.
ex-bodyguard!Toji who was such a smooth talker. The way he flirted with you made you feel like the most desirable being on earth. Your bare existence was his most valuable treasure.
ex-bodyguard!Toji who made it all feel just like magic. He courted you like a gentleman which caused you to feel lightheaded, but most importantly, he made you fall for him all over again.
ex-bodyguard!Toji who promised you he was being genuine, who explained everything to you - from his early childhood to this very moment. He told you how his clan treated him like garbage because he wasn't 'good enough'. And you too gave him a thorough insight into your life, confessing that your father never cared about you unless you were of any use to him. The fact he entrusted you with his vulnerability made you feel connected to him in a way you haven't before. Your bond strengthened to the point you started to understand each other entirely.
ex-bodyguard!Toji who kissed you like it was your first time, gentle yet intense; who fulfilled your every wish.
boyfriend!Toji whose greatest gift was your forgiveness and whose biggest pride was the possession of your precious heart. He wouldn't lose you again, and if he did, he would lose himself too.
boyfriend!Toji who didn't take long to pull out the ring, and it took even less time for you to accept the proposal. Your time together was the purest bliss, true euphoria, ecstasy. You spent all your free time together, so obsessed were you with each other. You couldn't believe you were going to be a wife - and his at that. And you also would've never thought he'd take over your surname, the one of your loving mother. You sure were the luckiest woman alive.
husband!Toji who never stopped the honeymoon phase treatment, loving on you more and more each day, like a man gone mad - deprived of you like a plant without water whenever you were gone for more than a few hours. He was attached, but so were you. You simply couldn't take your hands off of each other and you could never get enough.
husband!Toji who named your son Megumi, because it means 'blessing'. What name could be more fitting, considering the love of his life gave him a perfect mixture of their shared love - of you and him? He sure was the luckiest man alive.
husband!Toji who supported you through thick and thin, through pregnancy, birth and - eventually - sickness. As hopeless as it was.
husband!Toji who did lose you in the end, and as promised, himself as well. Who grieved your death like his own life came to an end, like the world caved in. He was just a corpse waiting to get buried. And suddenly, he was the unluckiest man alive.
widower!Toji who abandoned his one last blessing, because nothing on this entire earth could ever make him happy again. The sight of your features on his face made it unbearable to be near him.
widower!Toji who took the wrong jobs, the ones that put his life in danger, because he didn't see worth in it anyway; who risked everything because nothing mattered anymore.
widower!Toji whose game played out in the end, who finally was granted his wish when one job went wrong, who could join you in the afterlife and spend eternity alongside you...
(Wrote this with the biggest headache ever cuz I had a long day and already wrote and posted another post today but I can't disappoint y'all)
