Just Me Being Me!

As I drove home today thunderstorms behind me, and appearing to soak me as I shopped, I remembered what a dear friend had told me “there can’t be rough seas forever.” I continued my drive home, goods bought, and mind still reeling over the cranial fornication that happened previously. Focused not to get wet when I darted into the house, goods in tote and slippery ground ahead, I treaded cautiously and watched my footing. Tired but dry I weathered the storms of the day. Now to relax… .I vented all of the days happenings to those that chose to hear. Found one last ray of hope as costly as it would be and then stood outside begging the storm to come back and drench me. At least let me feel the cool reward of my victory!
