On Halloween, Tech Hive visited Ghost Golf, where we were able to learn about animatronics from an experienced professional in the field.

Today I worked on my individual project, and the horse race. 

Wilson and I worked on the operation board today, we built another prototype based on robot, luckily it worked after 4 hrs of work; the con about this prototype is we need to replace the parts of the robot's "organ" (because they are conductive).

I worked on operation board today, I decided to use a robot as our "patient", I worked on it approximately for 5 hrs. At the end, the robot operation board did operate properly, but I definitely need to find some way to improve it. I am looking forward to build another one next week. :D  

Today I, Sam, worked on my individual project, the collapsible clothes hanger. Pictured are prototypes 1 and 2. The first was flimsy and prone to folding, so version 2 was made with stiffer cardboard and a more compact structure. While the rubbers bands are strong enough to hold clothes and stretchy enough to give when the arms are pulled, it is not so easy to reinsert the hanger into a shirt. I'm hoping to incorporate magnets and a simple pulley system later to make hanging clothes easier.

Finally, I helped Alex with recording the script on Camptasia for a beginning tutorial on our chapter about building a basketball. In the techtorial, we showed how to build a variable and a little but of how they are used.

Made a drawing for my coat hanger. I couldn't draw a circle well, so I used Autodesk

Decided to make a collapsible coat hanger for my individual project. It will fold when pulling a shirt off of it, and snap back to its original shape.
