i think kira would handle it in a stride and try to make herself useful and don't show her questioning it bc she would tell herself it's not about her. because she always just had to pick up herself and go, so it can't be about her, so she's fine. she's counting the days until the family gets taken away like her first family did. you know how shakaar said to odo kira "never complained, who knew how to follow orders"? her boyfriend, shakaar, points out how good she was at being useful. does kira know/think she is valued mostly for what she does and not simply for who she is... and does it bother her, or is she just happy to be Useful again? to fight the cardassians or carry a baby.
