Checking my Tumblr following list made me wonder how everyone is doing now. Years have passed already. Feelings that were once poured into words became memories buried somewhere in the past.

Now when I look at their feeds, I can only imagine the lives they’re living today. Different places, different people, different versions of themselves. It feels strange how people who once became part of your everyday thoughts slowly turn into distant silhouettes behind photos and posts.

The city’s night lights don’t mesmerize me anymore. The moon goes unphotographed.

I no longer wait for sunsets to spill their golden light across the sky. I can almost recall the words that once lived inside those moments, but the feelings… they no longer answer when I call.
