Capoeira Me Chamou

Hello everyone who’s still out there. 

I do apologize that i stopped posting so abruptly so many years ago. Life happens. Grad school and starting a career happened. When I started this little capoeira fan blog, I thought I was going to be training forever and that nothing would break the group I was a part of. But like so many of you COVID broke it apart. My feelings about training have changed. While some of mt group mates still meet, its just not the same anymore. I tried training with the other high cords, without our instructors (and that’s a whole other issue that I don’t want to get into). It wasn’t working. I finally decided to make the decision to put my Capoeira aside for a little while. 

This doesn’t mean I won’t go back eventually. I hope to train again this summer with another group. But for now, I’ll just do a little cross training. Some BJJ. \

Anyway, if there’s still interest in this blog, I can keep posting. I can’t promise it will be consistent or any good though.
