The Spooky Kids

I went to court and they decided to talk my boss into letting me have my job back as long as I stay clean & sober. At first I was just staying clean for myself to stay out of jail but when I came home from work today my man told me he was proud of me and I can’t remember the last time I’ve heard those words or felt like I earned it. Staying clean & sober would be so much harder if I didn’t have my job and my man to come home to. I feel so much better about myself now. I feel like I’m actually getting somewhere. I know this is extremely personal but when I first got clean I posted about how scary it was to face my demons without drugs & alcohol. I no longer feel the need to escape. I’m finally free & to everyone else out there trying to get clean and sober.. I’m proud of you. You’re not alone ❤️
