((Hey guys, sooooo I thought the boys and I were back, buuuuut we’re kinda not. The muses are still very much with me, but to be honest? We’re all tired, and we need a longer break from social media for a while.
No, this isn’t goodbye! We’re not saying goodbye!
None of us want to go, but if we try to push now, it’s not going to work. So this is a “see you later”. We’re just taking a break and giving ourselves time to want to come back.

I LOVE the picture book of horses! I don't think I have that exact one, but I've certainly had my fair share of them! But the stickers??!?!??!?!!?!? That is the JACKPOT buddy!!!
And of course... you can't go wrong with the beach stuff. So cool.
I had a pretty good Christmas!!! I got this REALLY tasty cotton candy from my mom??? There are four colors - pink, yellow, purple, and blue. The pink is strawberry and the blue is blue raspberry and they are my FAVORITES. SO GOOD MY FRIEND. The yellow is lemon which is like okay I guess, and well, the purple is grape but I don't LOVE grape myself.
I also got a thing of bath bombs from my sisterrrrr anddddd hmmm OH I GOT A CAMERA TO PUT UP IN MY HORSE'S STALL! Remember I told you Louise is having a baby this spring??? Well we can put a camera up to watch when she starts to have it so we can go out and help!
YOU GOT COTTON CANDY?! Dude! Thats like so cool! I love cotton candy, my dude. I’ve been told I need to like moderate my portions since it’s like straight up sugar, but it’s totally good. Sounds like you’ve got some awesome flavors! Except like I’ve never heard of lemon cotton candy before. Totally don’t blame you for that one not being a favorite. The rest sound totally yummy.
Bath bombs are the beeeeest, my dude. Not gonna lie, I use those sometimes too, and they’re awesome. I love watching those things like do their thing in the water. That’s the best part!

Ken! I went to the beach today. Totally cloudy and rainy and cold, because it's winter here, but it ended up being actually a really chill and good day. The best day I've had in a long, long time actually.
Does Beach change much between seasons in Barbie Land?

No, Beach doesn’t really change much in Barbie Land. Except the colors really. The colors kinda show the season changes. It’s not like…obvious, but if you know what to look for, you can’t like not see it. Kinda like accent Beach colors, ya know?

Ken will have insisted that he’s seen snow before in the portal, but after some more questions from you and answers from him, it sounds more like what you expected: the fake snow confetti stuff. And you’re like “You’ve seen Barbie Land snow but Real World snow is veeeery different.”
He takes your word for it without much thought or explanation. A part of him doesn’t fully believe it, but there’s no point in him arguing with you, and why would he? You’re one of the nicest friends he’s ever made in the Real World and you would know about Real World stuff.
But he never expects to actually get to see it for himself.
You keep his eyes covered as you lead him to your front door. It had started snowing hard with big flakes while he was visiting you and was sticking to the ground and thankfully you noticed it first. He’s so excited and he doesn’t even know why yet but he loves good surprises and you swear up and down this is good. You lead him to the door and tell him to open his eyes and he gasps. You were right. Somehow this is different. For one thing it’s cold, and for another it falls far more gracefully here. Like when he first experienced rain, he asks innocently if it will hurt if he touches it, and you extend your hand out in the snow first with a soft “Not at all.”
He matches your movements and watches snowflakes fall on his hand. They don’t melt as fast as the ones on your hand do for plastic isn’t as warm but they still melt and it blows his mind.
He insists on playing in the snow and you’re more than happy to oblige him. Because he’s the first Ken, he’s got some Barbie Land magic though he doesn’t realize or understand it so his snowsuit and boots are TADA! Right there. He first plays in it like he would rain puddles, stepping through it and jumping into it and then running his fingers through it. He watches you catch snowflakes on your tongue and he opens his mouth wide, tongue out and eyes clamped shut with a loud “AAAAAAAAAH!” He hums thoughtfully when he tastes it. “Totally could use some sugar.”
His attempts at snow angels could use some work, but he’s surprisingly good at building snow Kens. It’s a snow Ken, you can’t convince him otherwise. “What if it’s a snow Barbie?” you ask. He scoffs and laughs. “Don’t be silly! She’d have better accessories than this if it was a snow Barbie!”
Snowball fights aren’t really his thing but sledding? Ohhhhhh sledding! He’s sooooo excited about sledding. It’s his new favorite thing in the whole wide world. This is surfing on snow, and when he crashes at the bottom of the hill, it’s more fun. But the ride from the top to the bottom is the most fun he’s had all day long. “I can totally surf on snow here! And be good at it!”
Even with his coat, boots, and accessories, he gets colder faster than you do, and his movements start to slow despite his energy and excitement. He argues about going inside, but you promise more sledding later if he comes inside for a little while. With also the promise of hot chocolate inside. That combo does it for him.
He just stares out the window the whole time, just watching the snowflakes slowly cover everything up. He asks you if he can be a Beach Ken and a Sledding Ken, and you give him a smile as you say, “Of course you can!”

The classic is that pale, tan color, just because that's the basic color the material is made out of. But you can choose any color you want! You'll have to think how you want to plan your outfit with your horse! Because, yeah. We match our outfits to our horses.
