He completely ignores the comment about his nickname, there’s no chance in hell that Jim will stop calling Leonard ‘Bonesy’. There’s plenty of reasons why but the simplest is that it winds him up so easily and Jim can’t help but enjoy getting a rise out of his cantankerous doctor. “It doesn’t work your way either, if anything it’s just a series of random incidents that happen sporadically over time. Good or bad, there’s nothing that can effect them. Especially talking about them.”

"Hmph." Leonard has always been somewhat superstitious. Whether it is random chills, off putting vibes or strange cases of deja vu, he's scientific mind constantly argues with his random encounters with the strange and unknown. Don't get him started on fate and destiny, those ideas have been screwed to hell and back since Jim's meeting with old Spock from another universe. "You've been spending too much time around Spock. Even if you are right, you aren't gonna make me change my beliefs. You asking for trouble is only gonna lead to trouble."
