Where's the option in game to either give anders a wtf is wrong with you face or tell him to shut it. Carver tells him to shut up (which i love) let me tell him to shove it too

So I played DA2 (due to computer compatibility) before DAO/A, and after seeing how Anders was during Awakening, I’m so sad to see how he turns out in DA2. I think Justice corrupted him as much as he corrupted Justice. This Anders reminds me a bit of Alistair, if more suave. I can better see now how he has so many fans.

Been seeing a post floating around claiming that what Anders did with the chantry wasn't betraying Hawke. But like, he lied to Hawke and manipulated them? Made then an accessory to a crime without their knowledge or consent? Implied that if Hawke DIDN'T help then they didn't love him? How is that not a kind of abuse/betrayal?

I just romanced Merrill and Anders went on about how she was gonna betray Hawke because that's what her kind does. Um...excuse me? Where does he have any room to talk when he lies to Hawke and makes them an accomplice to blowing up the chantry? Is that NOT betrayal???

Ander's tone is definitely more smug than it needs to be. His jokes always sound like he's either taking a dig at someone or trying to cover his spite with a thin veil of affability. It's how one of my exes used to talk and he was always angry and sometimes his anger spilled over onto me because it had to come out somewhere and Anders gives me vibes that he'd be exactly the same.

I'm begging you, please tell me you have the post that tried to argue anders was nonwhite and solas counts as poc because he was black in his concept art. I don't want to/I'm not going to stir up anything, but I've seemed to have lost it! thank you so much if you do, if not, have a lovely 2018

Idk whether it's Ander's tone or what but I always feel like he's only half-joking. Like the humor is an attempt to cover up something genuinely ugly. Like when he kicks the dog out of bed, the way he talks to the animal just feels more smug than humorous.

as someone who has been homeless and on the receiving end of charity (including healthcare!) if, to quote varric, "hundreds died" intentionally at the hands of someone who'd given me charity, i'd just feel betrayed
